In the UK it doesn't happen very often these days.
As soon as Rugby Union went professional in the 90s there were a number of people who went back to union.
Back before professionalism there was quite a stream of players going north to Rugby League, especially from Wales who provided so many players to League.
Dupont is tiny for a rugbyman but he is smart, agile, has a good technic and can play sneaky.
Pretty sure he uses dark magic but I don't have enough conclusive evidence on that :/

You get a lot of “Van Der” names like in Josh Van Der Flier or Duhan Van Der Merwe and they are if ditch heritage. Duhan Van der Merwe is originally South African but South Africa was a colony of the Dutch and the vast majority of white people in South Africa will be of Dutch heritage dating back over the last 70 ish years. Josh Van der Flier is Irish and had a dutch paternal grandad, so that would make him an 1/8th dutch but he, his parents and 3/4 grandparents were born and raised in ireland
My advice to one blue's fans to another is to never count on them to win anything. So when they underperform you don't feel to bad about it :)

the fact that you can't read some of the names of english speaking rugbymen shows how much english spelling lacks of rules and is a hell.
