You be doing that too? I speed up trax and post them too if I think they sound better slightly faster. I think they record it at a faster speed then slow it down so the vinyl version wont have an issue when djing on 1200s with the normal pitch 'trap'.
It's more of a preference I guess. I like it higher pitched. Some do and some don't... I should have maybe included it in the title that it was higher pitch in order to not mislead people... My bad
