Other brands are refusing to give cars for reviews but Mahindra gave car & content to MW. This level of handling @ 180kmph is really appreciable but I'm feeling 180ks a bit more for us.

180kmph to zero - There is a small moment when he said his prayer for safety .But being in a track his confidence is ensured. In a controlled environment such performance can be proved. Bravo to Mahindra for such beautifully engineered Indian car. But in Indian roads such safety will it matter when the roads per se are very very unsafe ? RIP the passengers in the crashed XUV 700. Misleading review: To keep in mind - the corner speed test is done on the track with banking, this wont be possible on normal flat road. Seeing this review, i would advice not to try on normal roads. Sad the review misses to address this, its critical for safety.
Yeah very true.. Every single time he told 180kmph I was getting scared thinking some fools might as well try this on Indian Roads which would be Hazardous..
The 180 kmph turn was tested on a test track with ample banking of roads.... The same can never be done in a normal road... better to mention this speed limit for normal road and maximum possible with banking of roads as 180 kmph.

Stress the importance of after sales service to velu sir when u meet him again aasir bro... We all understand how much efforts the team has put to build this ladder and frame platform powertrain etc... But the real success lies in after sales service and problem sorting... Mahindra team should give periodic training to the service engineers mechanics region by region... This is what toyota does and hence they are always far ahead in service always... I own XUV700 D AT. Driven 2500 km so far. Till 1000km maintained speeds under 70 kmph. After that, started driving at triple digit speeds on the highway. Maintain 100 to 125 kmph on the highway. Looking at the engine oil residue from the dipstick it is already gone dark and the performance dropped when compared to the oil that was light yellow on the day of delivery with awesome pickup. Second service is at 10K kms. So with good engineering people will for sure drive the car a lot and add more kms to the odo. Authorized service centers generally wont sell the oil and filter or any important spares. The engine oil approved for diesel engine is custom made by the manufacturer. Owners manual does not list the engine oil grade. And then there are engine oil scams which will go behind the scenes like adding BS4 oil into BS6 engine, topping off instead of drain and refilling and may other unheard stories. So better choice is DIY but at this time service center near me wont sell spares. And even worse is the automatic transmission maintenance which I don't know where to start. AT is fantastic which I agree. The above are applicable for Thar and ScorpioN as well since they use same diesel engine and AT. With all this excellent engineering + performance and if you actually start using the car like it should, at the end of the day it is going to get ruined sooner than you think even after spending 26++ lakhs, if the owner is not going above and beyond regarding servicing. Only time will tell. Feels like I just spent tons of money on a rocket just to watch it explode midway. Maybe Mahindra should open an online store for DIY'ers to sell ALL OE spares which will reduce the scams at dealerships and vehicles will get better care and maintenance. This will maybe take Mahindra to the next level like, "Every home should have a car and it will be a Mahindra"

Hi Sir.. Nice to see the performance. Last year I bought Scorpio S5. Just driven 130 KM faced suspension issue, air noise , speed sensor issue. I have informed to dealer they never changed the car then lost confidence in Mahindra brand.. faced lots of manufacture problem

Misleading review: To keep in mind - the corner speed test is done on the track with banking, this wont be possible on normal flat road. Seeing this review, i would advice not to try on normal roads. Sad the review misses to address this, its critical for safety.
Yeah very true.. Every single time he told 180kmph I was getting scared thinking some fools might as well try this on Indian Roads which would be Hazardous..

The 180 kmph turn was tested on a test track with ample banking of roads.... The same can never be done in a normal road... better to mention this speed limit for normal road and maximum possible with banking of roads as 180 kmph.

Usually roads will be banked at NH. So 180+ test at this track is legit

Stress the importance of after sales service to velu sir when u meet him again aasir bro... We all understand how much efforts the team has put to build this ladder and frame platform powertrain etc... But the real success lies in after sales service and problem sorting... Mahindra team should give periodic training to the service engineers mechanics region by region... This is what toyota does and hence they are always far ahead in service always... I own XUV700 D AT. Driven 2500 km so far. Till 1000km maintained speeds under 70 kmph. After that, started driving at triple digit speeds on the highway. Maintain 100 to 125 kmph on the highway. Looking at the engine oil residue from the dipstick it is already gone dark and the performance dropped when compared to the oil that was light yellow on the day of delivery with awesome pickup. Second service is at 10K kms. So with good engineering people will for sure drive the car a lot and add more kms to the odo.
Authorized service centers generally wont sell the oil and filter or any important spares. The engine oil approved for diesel engine is custom made by the manufacturer. Owners manual does not list the engine oil grade. And then there are engine oil scams which will go behind the scenes like adding BS4 oil into BS6 engine, topping off instead of drain and refilling and may other unheard stories. So better choice is DIY but at this time service center near me wont sell spares.
And even worse is the automatic transmission maintenance which I don't know where to start. AT is fantastic which I agree.
The above are applicable for Thar and ScorpioN as well since they use same diesel engine and AT.
With all this excellent engineering + performance and if you actually start using the car like it should, at the end of the day it is going to get ruined sooner than you think even after spending 26++ lakhs, if the owner is not going above and beyond regarding servicing. Only time will tell. Feels like I just spent tons of money on a rocket just to watch it explode midway.
Maybe Mahindra should open an online store for DIY'ers to sell ALL OE spares which will reduce the scams at dealerships and vehicles will get better care and maintenance. This will maybe take Mahindra to the next level like, "Every home should have a car and it will be a Mahindra"

Nice to see the performance. Last year I bought Scorpio S5. Just driven 130 KM faced suspension issue, air noise , speed sensor issue. I have informed to dealer they never changed the car then lost confidence in Mahindra brand.. faced lots of manufacture problem
