@@bobwallacejnr6852Maybe by the band itself. Queen didn't played this song as much as it deserves in their concerts. Also, Queen didn't included this song on the Greatest Hits vol 1 album (they instead choose to include weaker songs, as Flash Gordon or Seven seas of rhye). So, yes, Spread Your Wings is an underrated Queen song, but that is not because of the fans, it is because of Queen themselves (or, who knows, their managers, producers etc).

My dad used to play the album when I was a kid. So grew up with the live versions before I ever got to hear a studio album and this became my favourite queen song.

A perfect example of Queen taking their songs to another level when they play them live. Love the song as the studio version but it comes alive when you hear the bands’ hearts and souls put into it. Love it!!
This should have been on greatest hits. Its one of those songs that live is even better. News of the world is an incredible album.

Can’t believe how fast years are passing by,I was 15 when I bought News of the World.Love Queen but i really miss Freddie.Strangely almost everyone new he was gay but no one gives a damn and this was almost 40 years ago and he was from Zanzibar,everything was against him but he had this charisma and THE VOICE.

Ah. This takes me back to when I was about 8 years old, my big bro had got Live Killers on cassette for Christmas and I hogged it. Listened to this over and over. Never did I think I'd actually see footage on RUclips 30 odd years later!

I prefer some studio versions than the live ones and others I prefer their live than studio cuz sometimes Freddie is exhausted of singing and unfortunately couldn’t hit some high notes live but still the best vocalist ever

@@queenremix1353 he's not saying he couldnt. He's saying there were some moments during concerts where its very noticeable Freddie's voice is already exhausted and avoids hitting high notes. But he for sure can, he just protects his voice, he's done it several times.
