My aunt had a 28lbs soft tissue sarcoma removed in 2003 at Georgetown/ GW. It started in her diaphragm, went through the ribs and was growing out the muscles in her back. Her doctor told her to lose weight, she had asthma. Nope, internal bleeding and pushing on her lungs. Went to ER. They did xray, say the mass and said We can't help you. I took her films to Georgetown in the middle of the night to see if the team at Georgetown would take her case. They did. She didn't pass until 2020 from sarcoidosis. But I thank God for those doctors. She was able to see her granddaughter born and grow until she was 10 yr old. Her faith helped me with my own medical issues.

Mine is located between the ankle bone and heel. Thought it was just fluid but went to an orthopedic Dr, after an X-"ray,an MRI then another MRI with contrast. I was told to see an Orthopedic oncologist. For some reason the pain is worse since the MRI. I could feel vibration in that area while getting the MRI. I am getting older, but I got a few things I would like to do. There are few orthopedic oncologist in the United States, 300. One in my state is 120 plus miles away. Guess I will have to stay a month in a motel when I get radiation and chemo. No way I can drive that everyday. I can't ask my kids to quit their jobs, plus they live two hours away. Have kids in school, husband's that works to. Will figure it out. Maybe I can do treatments closer to home. Have the surgery in Augusta. So much to plan, but you do what you must.

I was told my sarcoma's pathology does not fit into one of those 50 categories. It was actually sent to John Hopkins as well as locally here at OHSU in Portland. It started in my spine, worked it's way all the way down each area of the spine, then the hips, then on the kidney, fluid in the lungs, and the multiple brain tumors I've had as well. Currently blind in the left eye because of pressure it's putting on my optic nerve. Sarcoma made me a quadriplegic.... Radiation has been my saving grace. I'm well over 80 sessions in, treated roughly 16 different places, and every chemo has failed me..

They are not personal from smoking or drinking, sarcomas only appear from an external cause. They are pretty much ''the forgotten cancer'' because are just due to random environmental factors such as trauma (bullets, blood clots), metabolic disturbances (due to previous medication) or even ambient influences such as living near by a chemical industry

Having lived in rural areas for most of my early life, I was surprised to receive lab results showing high levels of arsenic.
Arsenic has been linked to several forms of cancer, neurological diseases, and other systemic problems, however, doctors rarely include a heavy metal panel to identify what can eventually lead to serious disease.
If you are seeing sarcomas, breast, colon, and organ cancers at surprising rates where you live and you are finding symptoms that concern you, please consider pressing your doctor for something like the NutraEval and/or other heavy metal tests to identify this possible source. While it's hard to know what's already been set in motion, there are medical treatments to aid in the removal of these types of toxins.

Next appt is for a Hematologist Oconlogy which have been described as the experts. After 6-8 months we’ve taken no other action other than CT scans and PET scan. Just wondering... seems like if this is aggressive then I need aggressive treatment. Idk... GOD’S WILL BE DONE is my prayers.
