Yea. Personally I don’t see Brooklyn as Ben’s girlfriend
1. She was still dating Kenji when she visited Ben at his university.
2. All the campers flashbacks are when Brooklyn visited them many months before her supposed “death”
3. Ben mentioned his girlfriend is in Europe. So if this series is tying into the Jurassic park dominion and the camp fam ends up in Malta. Likely chance Ben contacts his gf maybe for a place to rest and somehow his gf ends up going along with them for the ride because she helped them so mostly likely she will be targeted by that psycho lady with the raptors
4. Also most likely in the second or third seasons Brooklyn reveals she isn’t dead and either still be undercover or becomes a bad guy (I hope it doesn’t come to that) also who will she choose to be with: Darius or going back to Kenji?
These are my theories and I’m mostly reaching at what may or may not happen so it’s anyone’s guess. I really enjoyed chaos theory a lot. It’s really original and full of jump scares. I wonder if they will meet maisie by some odd chance but again idk it’s just a guess.
For the Europe thing… Brooklyn has lived in London, its possible that she got back to London after sie ,died,

I don't think Brooklyn is Ben's griflriend. From what Darius said she didn't have feelings for him, so I don't think she has them for Ben, it seems really out of character to me that she became his girlfriend when she was still "alive". Neither the online option, I mean, to be attracted to someone you need to at least once see him/her in the face, otherwise I don't see how someone would fall in love looking at texts lol. I think Ben really has a girlfriend that lives in Europe and I also think she might be Italian since when his van sinks after the Becklespinax's attack he says: "Ciao mia cara", which translates to "Bye my dear"; so maybe he has an Italian girlfriend who taught him some basic Italian words!
You don’t get it, Brooklyn wouldn’t be dating Ben out of romantic love, she may have cat fished him just so she can keep an eye on the campers.
Oh you must be real young. There are loads of people in online relationships, catfished and intentional. I'm not saying these are healthy and normal relationships by any means but they happen all the same.

Definitely agree. Especially after Ben mentioning her twice and the Italian phrase he says after his van sinks in one of the episodes. The noveluzation points out she's Italian. I really hope we'll see her in the next season...
First of all, this is mere speculation, and speculation is made purely for fun. This happens in every single fandom.
Second, Ben didn’t lie. I interpret his moment of hesitation when he tells that to Darius and Sammy as feeling a bit of shame, because he has an online relationship, but he seems pretty sure when he speaks about it with Yaz, and knowing Ben, he would never lie to Yaz to make her feel better.
Third… people is misunderstanding the whole video. 6:30 The theory raises a potential scenario where Brooklynn, who is undercover right now and cannot reach N5 physically, decides that her only way to keep tabs on the rest of the campers is to reach Ben through Dark Jurassic without letting him know. Swrve never stated that Brooklynn cheated on Kenji. And since we don’t know how long Ben and his gf have been dating, this theory is not entirely far-fetched.
Also, in the junior novelization of JWCT s1, Ben tells Darius and Sammy that his gf is from Italy (Malta is near mainland Italy and near italian island of Sicily, which is a volcanic island, btw). Considering that Brooklynn’s room at the end of season isn’t the same as her secret home in Colorado, she could be in Italy.
How Ben and Brooklynn ended up having an online relationship? That part is the most complicated to explain and justify. Maybe she begin to feel something else as the months passed while chatting with him; it’s funny how she says “at the beginning I was like ‘ughh’, but this view..!” in Ben’s flashback, and it’s even more funny that she loves more the city lights view showed by Ben than Bioluminescent Parasaulophuses view showed by Kenji 🤣 It can be also that he misunderstood the nature of their relationship (remember that this is an online relationship, things like this happen all the time).
There is also another detail discovered by a tumblr user: in Ben’s flashback, when the two begin to talk about Dark Jurassic until the end of the flashback, the music that plays on the background is so similar to the music of the scene from ep 8 where Darius confesses he is in love with Brooklynn. This doesn’t mean that Ben is in love with Brooklynn or viceversa, but it definitely has a meaning, since soundtracks are usually used to convey certain meanings.
Of course, and again, this is speculation based on hints/personal interpretations/actual facts we have. We’ll have to wait until s2 to see if this make sense!

I don’t get why everyone is so surprised by Ben having a girlfriend. Like even the Nublar 6. I mean like, Darius starts to develop a feeling for Brooklyn, Kenji and Brooklyn used to be together before they broke up and the obvious one, Yaz and Sammy and still having a strong relationship. So it obviously makes sense for Ben to have a girlfriend, online or in person. It’s basic show stereotypes trope
Okay, after watching the video Brooklynn possibly being Ben's girlfriend to keep herself informed about the other campers kinda makes sense. But I still think that's unlikely, because she'd have to be cool and play Ben like a fiddle with extreme skill to not let him realize he's actually talking to Brooklynn.
She'd have to come up with a different personality and even a different way of messaging him, because he'd probably notice her mannerisms in their conversations. That wouldn't only be very difficult to do on the long run, but it'd also be kinda cruel to do to her friend lol. I just can't see her doing this to Ben, but maybe I'm wrong.
I mean, Mr. Kon did say there was something different and possibly dangerous about her when they met. Though I still bet on Ben's girlfriend being an actually different and regular person. He might've acted weird about revealing it because Sammy and Darius were in disbelief when he told'em, as if they didn't think he was capable of having a girlfriend.

Usually in these occasions something bad happens between the couple. Since Ben and the girl are together it makes it harder to show love so in season 2, I think the girl will break up with Ben and Ben changes his personality.

A theory I have is that Ben knows she’s alive and that Brooklyn has told Ben what to do to help the rest of them survive whatever is going on.
Narrative requires relevance, and the episodes did put emphasis on that factor, so Brooklynn should have a connection to it,

While just thinking of the topic of the video, My mind went to female characters who are not dead, dinosaurs, already in a relationship, and appeared in camp Cretaceous, and based off of these clues plus how this character supposedly lives in Europe, I thought of Roxie.
Based off of some of Ben’s interactions to the others in the group, it makes sense here, because Ben would probably be uncomfortable telling the rest of the nublar six that he’s dating their old camp counsellor. I really don’t know how I feel about this relationship but this might not even be the case at all.

i have some theories for if Brookylnn is actually still good
. one reason Brooklynn hasn't told any of the Nublar 6 that she is alive might be because she wants to keep them safe. Brooklynn knows she has an advantage with people thinking she is dead, so she can hide and work on trying to take down the villain. So she might think that if she tells them she is alive, they would want to work with her, and put themselves in a lot of danger because the villains don't think they are dead, so they would still chase them.
. Another reason might be that she doesn't want them to blow her cover
. Another one might be because she thinks that they will hate her for not telling them immediately, and that might affect all the work she has accomplished so far
