Paseo Claussen Mazatlán 4K Walking Tour
Paseo Claussen is part of the Mazatlán boardwalk. Located in Olas Altas, you can enjoy beautiful bike rides admiring Cerro el Cerro de la Nevería and the beautiful monuments along the most beautiful and oldest area of the boardwalk.
It is named after Jorge Claussen (German immigrant) who in 1900 was one of the co-founders of the Cervecería del Pacífico location and about ten years later had a crucial participation in the construction of Paseo Olas Altas.
Paseo Claussen has some monuments such as: the Monument to the Mazatlan Woman dedicated to the beauty of the women of this city, La Glorieta Rodolfo Sánchez Taboada also known as “the Diver” for the impressive diving that takes place there.
On the opposite side of the Glorieta is the Sculpture of the Queen of the Seas, a few meters behind it is the Monument to the Continuity of Life, the Casa del Marino and the remains of Fort 31 de Marzo that he helped defend. the city of the french
