    It's been amazing watching Poulter come up through the NCAA and now playing in Italy. She's young and has established herself as the best setter in the game! Karch knows it and so should you!

    Her back setting is simplistic. Watched her for awhile and she is an offensive setter, which is fun to watch. She will occasionally spike it, when it is convenient for her advantage.

    she didn't play really well in the preliminary round but came back excellent in the semi and final, and that is enough for the gold

    I surprised on Karch decission choosing Poulter in place of Carlini....but the true is....Karch see something that fans can not. In this time decission was exactly one of things Usa needed to win gold.

    Reason why Karch choose poulter over carlini is because poulter is more aggresive thatn carlini

      Poulter is the better teammate. Also more supportive in a back up roll if that’s where she ended up. The team had influence in who their teammate were.

    I really wanted Carlini to be USA’s main setter in the Olympics... she’s the fastest among all American setters and is always quick to think and react situationally, also has the most quality sets.. nonetheless, Poulter did a spectacular job in orchestrating the USA’s offense... there are few lapses but can be corrected knowing that she’s still young..

    • @castroybanez3507
      @castroybanez3507 2 года назад +2

      Hahahaha Carlini wasnt chosen because she cant play the fast system that Karch requires, so how on earth is the the fastest American setter?

    • @polyprinz

      She was simply the best setter in the Olympics. You can name any other setter that you think is better, but the outcome is, Poulter set her team to aGold Medal.

  • @lilnbigman
    @lilnbigman 2 года назад +3

    No she not the reason, the reason was Hancock the team All Jordan's because Poulter can not set a middle side back 3 meter. Meaning had it not been as shown in gold medal match for setting by libero Jordan Larson they would have been in big trouble. Simply because Handcock knows how to set everything as she showed block and has a serve like no other.
    Now the issue is Poultry is there but no other setter wants to join. There were alot a wrongs done to earn this Gold. We are so Thankful for it and that they did but credit goes to setting for Hancock, libero, Jordan Larson and other team members.
    See what happens next when all most every team player of national team is leaving.

    • @iyu9096

      Your comment is really difficult to read. Also, Poulter is the setter for the semi final and the gold metal match so yes, she is literally PART of the reason why USA won. No matter how good the team is, it wouldnt work if the setter isnt playing well. So Poulter setting the offense for the two most important matches of the tournament and finishing with 3-0 wins just proves how ignorant your comment is.

    • @iyu9096
      @iyu9096 2 года назад +4

      In the Quarterfinal against DR, Hancock literally had 3 service errors out of 7 attempts. Her serves only work for weaker teams who cant pass well (if shes even consistent in the first place lol), its basically nonexistent for teams like China (watch vnl match).

      Average compared to what level setters? Olympic level? Maybe but she is still young. Could have 4 or 5 Olympic medals by the time she is done. Setters and liberos seem to play into their late 30’s. She is only 23 and lead USA to gold in her first Olympics.
