I only decorate with sunflowers in my own home late summer as in end of August but I love florals and do love seeing others sensibility and creativity even if not exactly like mine. Its like music which is the language of my heart I love all kinds and many languages some I understand others I have to translate. I see the beauty you love. In East Indian culture the owl is considered extremely intelligent. Im not sure how true that is. Essentially because size of brain is said matters. I have seen a injured owl up very close, heard it hoot and watched how its head rotates. I was about 3 but still remember. Im a nurse in my late 50s but have been one for 40+ years at this point away from the bedside. You are very blessed to have family that lives close. Stat blessed always. I do patient intake, billing and coding, insurance authorizations, and what ever else needs to be done. Lily followed in the steps of my big sister (her namesake just spelled differently) Lillie. She is a dental hygienist and has been for around 30 years.

I love the scales with the greenery. When my dad passed away I got his large gold scales ⚖️ and I always put the greenery on the scale trays. My birthday is in October so they are nice to have. Great finds. God bless and have a wonderful Sunday…..🍃💗🍃
I like the scales where they are because there is not so much empty space above. And I like the greenery hanging down. Just think what you can put on there at Christmas. Love your videos and your hair.

I went to a community yard sale Saturday. My daughter and I were visiting my granddaughter who lives in Knightdale, NC. Found some crystal Christmas platter and footed bowl. A ceramic square dish, Christmas hand towels, and the seller thru in some freebies. First yard sale I’ve been to in a while. Throughly enjoyed myself. I got to meet my first great grandson this past weekend when we visited.
Looks like you got some wonderful items at the yard sales, sounds like a fun time! What a wonderful idea, to hang the bridesmaid dresses on those pretty hangers to get a beautiful picture! I bet David is enjoying that mug, it is really cool, and the jewelry hanger is neat too! I use lint rollers (without the handle) on my velvet jewelry displays. I love being able to see my jewelry. One thing to know: elasticized bracelets will get stretched out on that kind of jewelry holder. They do better resting on a surface. Great haul!

That's so interesting to me, earthquakes are the last thing I consider when I'm decorating. I never even thought about how someone in California would have to take them into account when putting things throughout the house. I think I will remember that forever.
I went yard-sailing yesterday too. I found some bridesmaid champagne flutes for my daughter's wedding and a pretty little metal table to go between the two chairs on my patio. I had been wanting one, and it's the prettiest shade of light green. Love your scale!
Hi Becky awsom to see ya! Candles best ones are the bees wax and "natural "essential oils some bother me too but you don't know what your burning like chemicals. Same with incense sticks the boxes with a picture of a green leaf on it are the natural ones nice finds 😊. 🌿.
He usually does pretty good with the ones with bees wax but Bath and Body works candles take him out every time. I don't know what they make them out of.

I never put anything on top of my maple hutch either, for the same reason. I love to see your unique thrift and yard sale finds displayed in your home. 🌻 ⚕ I wanted to share what I do for my fragrance allergy: It's gotten to the point where I can't be in the room with the scents of Gain, Pine Sol and many room sprays, candles and personal perfumes. because of asthma and sinus reactions The reason for much of the fragrance allergy is because so many of these contain grasses. I can only use single flower perfumes such as Carnation or Rose, now. For house cleaning I use about 3 drops of Lavender and Lemon essential oils in cheap vodka with a spray bottle. The alcohol with the oils will kill bacteria and leave a wonderful scent in the rooms. ( I don't use rubbing alcohol though, because it's too fumy and doesn't smell nice). It can be used on many surfaces including glass and varnished wood. It will work on the jewelry stand you bought for your daughter, too.

I agree with you 100 percent, I think I even said it actually would look better on my dining room table but I just didn't want to move my tiered tray. I just don't have another low setting spot in my small house to fit it. I think I just got caught up in the yard sale and talked myself into buying it even though I knew I only had a couple places that it might fit.

I think there are some larger ones out there though, maybe check Amazon. He just made this one on a whim one day and I love it so much.

I use it now for decoration purposes only , do you use yours or just use it for decor? I'm going to test my vintage plates with a lead testing kit from Amazon to check them out because I use them and when someone told me about the high amounts of lead in the pyrex, and older 70's plates I had to check and sure enough lead in pyrex and I ordered more test strips to check out my painted vintage plates. I was just curious if you use your vintage dishes or just use them to decorate with... loving ALL your videos
I don't use my Pyrex but I do use all my Corelle dishes. I tested them and they did not show positive for lead.Honestly I have never tested the Pyrex which I guess it doesn't matter if I am not using it but I am curious now.
I get them from Hobby a lobby when they are on sale. I use the same one over and over throughout the house. Small leaves (in my opinion) always look nice.

The scale is fairly tall large piece. It needs to be on a shorter piece of furniture like a buffet, entry or sofa table, a chest, etc.
