She's literally singing to 100s of millions of people who have gone through or are going through what she's singing in all three languages. This song connects with everyone all over the world. She does it beautifully.

My favorite mori song
I can't even read it in Korean, let alone memorize all that lyric in 2 weeks, translate that in English then rehearse it! Imagine being Korean and listening to a classic, then this singer just came in and took all that song and elevate it like no other artist has ever done, complete with all that emotion! The bigger the challenge the more she shines. She's in my book the greatest I've heard in my lifetime. Nice reaction guys. I appreciate your review so much.

Wonderful Queen Morissette when she sing any language song, it's will become magical, there"s will no language barrier English, Tagalog (Filipino)and Korean each songs she dslivered it so beautifully, (that song is originated Korean song sang by their powerhouse singer Lee Hei Yhung just adapted (translated) in English and Tagalog by Filipino arranger) she's so good, she owned it all, she is the best

Hi Ryan and Cindy,loving the visuals(photo inside a crumpled piece of paper). This was Mori's 1st upload on her channel. Regarding the ASF perormance it was the 2ng song Mori sang. On the flight to Korea it was translated to English and left with the climax in Korean. I just love and proud of this young woman as if shes my daughter. I just love how she conveys the emotion of the lyrics,to me she performs through her eyes. Keep up the great work guys.

Hello, Ryan and Cindy. At the 2017 Asia Song Festival held in South Korea, Morissette sang "Secret Love Song" and a mashup of "Best of My Love + Emotion". It was a spectacular performance that people and media gave her the nickname "Asia's Phoenix".🔥🥰 The event organizers were so impressed with her, that they invited her to perform again in the following year 2018 ASF. That is a first for a Filipina singer to be invited two years in a row in such a prestigious international pop music event. As such, Morissette prepared something special for the Korean audience who most likely comprised the majority of those in attendance in that stadium, and that is, she sung one of their popular ballads originally sung by Lee Young Hyun which she translated to English (with the title "Resignation"), but the real surprise came towards the end of the song when she sung it in original Korean language, that's why we could hear the loud cheering and applause for her, the Koreans definitely loved it and were amazed and appreciated what she did. There were many reaction videos by Koreans who were there and those who watched the video, and they were really impressed with her and could not believe that she could sing one of their songs with such an emotional delivery and even in fluent Korean, that some said Mori sang it even better than some of their singers. 🥰
Morissette recognizes that her performances on both the 2017 and 2018 Asia Song Festival, representing the Philippines, are among the milestones in her colorful music career. She included some footage from these in her "Phoenix" music video, and she mentioned them in her 10th Anniversary "Phoenix" Concert. During the pandemic, she did "Resignation" in 3 languages which included a Tagalog translation. By the way, you two are wearing blue in this reaction video, the same color as Mori's outfit in the 2018 ASF. 😊

MORISSETTE She sung the last part of RESIGNATION in Korean Language just to get the attention of the Korean people coz, in 2017 Asian Music Fest most Korean didn't understand
and were not fond of that kind of music coz, they love drama and sentimental songs
so, one of Mori's korean friends suggested to her to sing the most favorite song of the majority of Koreans which in their Country, they say that if you do not know that song you are not a genuine Korean.

One of the most popular " break-up " songs as well as karaoke in S. Korea . First video,....English , middle verse ,Tagalog and last verse Korean....the live version.....only the last verse was in Korean . She had a Korean friend based in the Philippines help her translate it to English for the live performance and....Tagalog , that was done during the Covid lockdown.

1. Korean crowds are hard to please. There were idol groups there too and they were waiting for them.
2. Mori's first song was in Tagalog/English and wasn't received well to be honest. It's just the way it is.
3. Her genius is in choosing a very popular break-up song that every Korean is familiar with and singing the last part in Hangeul which truly captured the audience.
