Saturday morning bimble down to knutsford for a brew then on to Jodrell Bank Observatory .

- Had a nice little ride out on Saturday, started off in Rixton just outside Warrington then made our way over the Warburton bridge and headed through Lymm down towards Knutsford , spent about an hour there having a brew and a look round , bumped into a few fellow scooterists we know who were out for a ride too , always nice to catch up with people especially when its unexpected , girls went in every charity shop 🙄 . We then made our way down to Jodrell Bank observatory , not too far , about 8 miles . Unfortunately we couldn’t get close as it was closed but still got a few good pictures . Great day and mainly avoided the rain . Enjoy . 🛵👌📡🥶🌧☕️🧁✌️

Have well over 200 scooters all Vespas and Lambrettas and I refuse personally, to be held Hostage by poor Italian Motors and electrical spent far too much time in the 70's and 80's fixing instead of riding but none of that changed my obsession haha. Except now all my riding scoots are electric and far faster than any scooter or motorbike for that matter hahaha. And 100% reliable. Love the video guys KTF!
Thanks for commenting mate , I’ve got a lambretta gp and a Vespa PX , the lammy is called the problem child , seems like all I do is pay out on it , fix one thing and something else goes , Vespa is not so bad but still a pain in the arse , seems never ending payouts , that’s why I bought a brand new alto as my everyday run about , as you say nowadays reliability is the key word , too old to be pissing about on the hard shoulder anymore . this is my kinda biking now... ive done all the sportbike hype..lost a few friends on the way...now i enjoy a bimble through some carefully chosen quiet country lanes and B roads with missus on back... i looked at a trad vespa..but we are both on the heavier side... had a piaggio 400 it was like a tank...now have a 200 burgman, suprisingly good for a 200cc with combined 30 stone on it..lol... (we like burgers)(the ones ya can eat).... and its currently broken down ...what is it with scooters..lol.... i will someday have a yellow spanish postal service vespa..im good wi 2 strokes and love the bits and bobs they do for trad scooters...but... i dont have time for the hard shoulder at my age 56.. so modern scoot for now..and enjoy a slower pace on the road with plenty of smiles and ice cream stops....
Get yourself a geared 2stroke then your scooter won’t sound like a tractor 😂
Tell me where I can buy a brand new 2 stroke geared lammy or Vespa and I’ll invest in one 🤔, I already have a 1975 Lambretta GP 150 , kitted to 175 , type in my scooter on the channel and you’ll see a video of it , I also have a Vespa PX 125 but when I’m out on a long ride out I use my four stroke auto , I don’t care what anyone thinks about what I ride , everyone is entitled to their opinion as we are entitled to ride what we like , I ride a four stroke auto because I like it and more importantly because it’s reliable , I’ve done with breaking down and being on the side of the road with side panel off , 80s are long gone , time to get over it and move on .
