    I think i started studying a bit late :p (exams in a week lmao)
    I understand it now tho. My calculus teacher stands in the perfect position to cover all of his workings from my angle. Ty Infinity.

    Hey infinity, how did you do the graph thingy in question 2(a)?

    for question 2(c) why would t=0 when v=27.78 m^-2 ?

    • @a84758
      @a84758 Месяц назад +3

      because the time starts from the moment the brakes are pressed. this means that in the very moment the brakes are pressed, ie when t=0, the velocity is 27.78.

    Hi, Infinity plus1, is there any chance you could explain how the grading works. How is the overall grade for the paper calculated?

      every paper has 3 sections(3questions) and u can get a maximum of 8 marks for each section. total paper is worth 24 marks. Getting a T for a question means u did the excellence question correctly. To get E8 in a question u need 2 'T's. 1 'T' is E7. Getting an R for a question means u did the merit question correctly. 2 'R's is M6 and 1 'R' is M5. Getting a U for a question means u did the achieve question correctly. if u only get 1 u or 2 u's and nothing else that means its an N1 or an N2. three u's means A3. Now for maths if u only did the excellence questions and get them correct, u automatically get E7 or E8 for that section of the paper. likewise, if u only did the merit questions and u got them all correct, u automatically get M5 or M6 for the section.
      To calculate ur overall grade, the examiner would add up the marks u got for each section. for example, section one u got e7, section 2 m5, and section 3 a4, that would be 7+5+4= 16 so 16/24 is ur overall grade. The grade boundaries each year kind of changes, but a 16/24 is a good grade and it usually is a merit overall so ur overall grade would be a M16 for calculus. they calculate the algebra and stats papers like this too

      @@infinityplusone Can we use the kinematics equation for Laws of motion because they are wayyy easier to use to calculate the answers for example at Question 2 letter C the second Excellence question we can just use the Velocity-Displacement Equation which is v²=u² + 2as

    I got a question: During Q1 (d), I don't understand when we need to prove the maximum, why does A' = 100 - 4πr? Where does the 100 comes from?
    Thxxxxxx if anyone could answer me!

    • @deepblue-darling

      i think it was supposed to be A' = 400 - 4πr and probably just the wrong number got put there (it disappears when deriving again so shouldn't change anything)
