Awsome video you really went above and beyond to show the best bulbs and light patterns. I’ve watched your other videos. I hope you get more views and subscribers. This was very helpful
Thanks for the kind words….much appreciated. Looking to get my hands on a new 9 or 12” Auxbeam light bar to replace the little one that’s on there now or possibly add it to my wife’s Jeep Rubicon. Hopefully a review soon. Thanks again for watching.
@@tipsyrippers At the 2:00 mark of this video, you can see how I wired my existing small Lightbar into the high beam circuit. Since my current Lightbar only has 12 leds and draws 36 watts, it was safe to tap into the existing circuit. Thanks AK. I’ve been watching your channel for awhile now, especially while I was waiting for my Foreman to arrive last spring. In my first video, which was the walk around, I gave you a shout out and also put your link in my description for people to also check out your channel. 👍 Thanks for the great info you provide and thanks again for watching!!
Awesome. Something I didn't take time to do was compare my stock halogen bulbs with the new Auxito ones, or the previous set I bought. I knew these new ones were much better than the other LED bulbs I bought but was really curious as to how they compared to the stock halogens. Definitely brighter by a small amount, which makes it well worth it because even if they were equally as bright as halogens they are worth the change for the color alone In my opinion. Great video.
So are there any manufactures that create a light that sits horizontality? What is the bulb code that fits our Rubicon's maybe I can do some more digging.
The stock bulb in the handlebar headlight is an 885. The only two bulb manufacturers that I have found so far are the Auxlight and Auxito, which are in this video. Let me know if you find something. I still want to see if Auxbeam carries one and if not, I may just upgrade my 6” lightbar to a 9” Auxbeam light bar. Stay tuned. Thanks for watching.
Amazon is saying that the auxito you have listed here will not fit my 2022 Honda Rubicon. But you have it listed in your description as being the right bulb for the top headlight on the Rubicon. Thoughts? I'd really love to have the auxito
Jamie I rechecked the Amazon link and it is the correct bulb that fits both the 880 and also the 885 we have in our handlebar light. If if put in my 2021 Rubicon, Amazon also says it won’t fit mine either, but it does. The Amazon description even says it fits the 885. You should be good with ordering it 👍 Thanks for watching.
Hi thanks for your videos. I'm new to your channel and a new ATV owner. I have a 2024 Foreman 4x4. I hate the YELLOW halogen headlights. Ridiculous they exist these days in vehicles at these prices. Did you somehow have your LED bar turn on with your same high beam switch?
Congrats on the new purchase. Yes, I tapped into the high beam circuit so that I didn’t have to run a separate switch. You can see more details at the 2:00 mark in this video: ruclips.net/video/MV1r73l2wpU/видео.html As long as you aren’t running a giant light bar, your stock fuse should be able to handle the additional power draw. I haven’t had any problems with my setup. Yes I wish they had a factory led upgrade option. The sad thing is, in 2021, the Pioneer 1000’s had factory projector led headlights standard on the higher trims. Then with the parts shortage, they went back to halogen bulbs across all models. Kind of sad. The cool thing is, the OEM Honda Pioneer LED headlight assembly fits on our Foreman’s but they are pricey at $400 and require you to cut out part of the adjustment bucket that stays on the machine. End look is pretty nice though but my setup will suffice. Best of luck with your new ride and thanks for watching.
Don’t know if you watched my video on the Hondaboats LED low beams. ruclips.net/video/Dquvz2Jo3Ew/видео.html They were ok. A little pricey and not a great beam pattern. The white light does look good, but I have to says the stock halogens probably do a better job in putting the light where it’s needed. That said, I’m still currently running the LED’s. I’ve given up on trying to find a better LED replacement bulb. My next step if I have some cash burning a hole in my pocket is to order a set of the Honda OEM LED headlights from the Pioneer 1000 and replace the entire headlight bucket. There’s a few people that have done it and liked how they fit. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
Is there any clearance issue that influenced the Auxito light bulb instead of an LED Auxbeam with the fan in an 880 size that says it is 4000 lumens per bulb? The Auxbeam with the fan is longer than the Auxito. So I am curious if the brigher Auxbeam would fit and work and be even brighter than the Auxito. Any thoughts on clearance in the housing? Thanks! I guess the Auxbeam is 3.43 inches long vs the 2.64 for the Auxito. I also see a Beamtech that claims 5000lumens about the same length at 3.42 inches.
There’s a lot of room in the light bucket up there so it would probably fit. Didn’t realize Auxbeam had bulbs that fit but I was trying to avoid bulbs with a cooling fan. I was afraid of just another think that might break. I think the key in a replacement bulb is not just lumen output but more importantly finding a bulb whose leds shine out to the sides for a good beam pattern. The two I have tested both had the beams going up and down instead.
Brightness Specs:
Auxlight: 1,500 Lumens per bulb
Auxito: 3,000 Lumens per bulb

Does the 885 auxito fit on my Honda rubicon 2016? It looks like it fits on the newer years just want to make sure 2016 is a fit.
