Hi lovely, you don’t need to apologise, you’re in the midst of renovations and I agree, quick and easy until you get the kitchen sorted. Nice haul 😊 The cost of living is beyond ridiculous. I’ve been avoiding our 2 big supermarkets (Coles and Woolworths here in Aus) and shopping more at Aldi. Unfortunately we don’t have Tesco or Iceland here. I put those chicken strips into a wrap with a packet of salad, sour cream and sweet chilli sauce-yum! 😋 quick and easy I must see if I can find those pigs in blankets here as I usually make them for my son and hubby. Anything I can just stick in the air fryer is a winner for me lol £130 for the week is pretty good. It’s absolutely freezing here in Brisbane Queensland Australia right now as it’s winter but where we are is classed as the tropics and we’ve been getting temperatures as low as 7 degrees at night and early mornings. It’s horrible as we’re used to temps around 12-15 at night and mid 20’s during the day. I must admit, I am a summer person but also whinge when the temps get to the high 30’s lol 🤷🏼♀️ Looking forward to seeing more renovation. Take care and see you next time.😊 ❤ xo

Lol I used to work at woolies when we had one,many moons ago 😂I do like an Aldi shop but I like to Alternate, and your right, the chicken strips go really well in wraps 👍I can’t believe the weathers even strange in Australia, those temperatures are crazy but I guess we’re facing global warming temperatures now 🥲let’s hope it warms up soon for all of us 🤞sending love 💜 xxxx

I’m trying to get as much use out of it as possible but at some point we need a new one anyway so I’m not sure 🤔 I think some bits work out quite expensive in Iceland, especially the fresh items xxxx

Hi Rosie I feel your pain just had my bathroom renovated. Got professionals in but it still took over a week. What a bloody mess. No sink no wet room only toilet left in. Strip washing in the kitchen is not the thing. Took me back to when I was a child. Didn't have a bathroom only outside toilet and a tin bath that came in once week. Good luck with kitchen I'm it will be worth it. ❤❤

Lovely shopping haul why didnt you get some frozen mashed potatoes and you vould of had sausage and mash i have just come home from paighton and the weather has been lovely a few afternoons it said it would rain and we had afew drops of rain then sun came out infact ive only wore a cardi and a few dayys no cardi my don said it has been raining at home and cold love fran xxxxx
I can just buy it ready made if need be, I did last week and it was actually pretty good ❤️it’s just been a washout here, I think summer went on a permanent vacation 😂xxxx
It might not be the healthiest meals but it is better and cheaper than takeout. There is nothing wrong with chicken out of the airfryer and some rice out of the slow cooker. I’m sure you will make some nice meals with the chicken and yeah it must be easy at the moment, you have so much on your mind and things to do. I think you did great with this haul 🤍. I have a quiet weekend because I do have a bursitis in my right hip and a lot of pain in my right leg. If everything goes well I will get an cortisone injection this Thursday. So fingers crossed that it will get better fast after the injection. And a week later I will get some injections in my back to kill the nerves because I do have a slipped disc that pinches nerves that lead to my left leg. So at the moment I can hardly walk or sit or even lay down without pain although I do take morphine twice a day.

I got these diam bars because... I was hungry 😂 i have never related more 🤣 usually i end up buying drinks like mini smoothies or something which are never cheap because I'm thirsty😅 had the first okish day yesterday down south and my Geordie skin is burnt as we aren't used to it! x

I find Iceland is great for filling the freezer but for everything else I shop Tescos ..Great haul .
