Hi Gabriel, thanks for the great videos. Koufonisi means "hollow island" i.e. full of holes and caves. The meltemi is the north wind that runs through the Aegean throughout the summer. The warm air masses from Africa (Sahara), rise high and travel north towards Siberia. There they meet the cold air masses and push them down, as a result of which they find an escape through the opening of the Hellespont (Turkey), towards the Aegean Sea. If there was no meltemi, the temperature in the Cyclades would be 37 degrees, with high humidity every day and life would become unbearable.
Hi Gabriel! All these islands (little cyclades) used to be a naturist paradise. We used to hike nude from beach to beach (25 years ago..). There were no rooms to stay, we use to camp free in the nature. Nowadays Koufonissi is known as "Mykonos of the small Cyclades". Crowds, very expensive unfortunately. Thanks for the video Gabriel! ✌️

I absolutely love the videos from the Greek islands. They're beautiful.
