Abby usually wants Mack to be like her sister. She is always comparing the two. It was actually Chloes mom that told her to be her best self. Melissa never said anything to her daughter. It was kind of sad. I am happy she got a chance to" Shine."

@@BlazinBritBrat Actually, Melissa was really supportive of Mackenzie. The show just didn't show it. Mackenzie wrote in her book, "Kenzie's rules for life." that her mother Melissa always encouraged her to be happy with her own achievements and not let herself feel overshadowed.

1. She said she felt like Maddie should have instead of Mackenzie.
2. It was Chloe's mom that gave her the pep talk about being her best self. It was back when Mackenzie did to recreate Maddie's dance. I'm glad they are off the show now.
@@BlazinBritBrat It's true that Christi did the pep talk with Mackenzie but Melissa didn't really say that Maddie should have won instead of Mackenzie, the producers edited the episode to make it seem like she wasn't happy for Mackenzie but she was happy. Even Abby said that it was edited.
