Well polished mate😉. Still a good watch mate, and we'll done goi g against the grain and having a go in the snaggy area. I'm out tomorrow at a notoriously snaggy mark. Box will be heavy with lead. Thanks for your efforts buddy👍👍🎣🎣
I really enjoyed this video despite the lack of fish. I have done a bit of research at low tide, taken photos etc. I have fished it on big tides but cast close in to avoid the snags. Caught dogfish. And more dogfish. And then some more dogfish. Oh, and a single squid.
Hard luck Greg u'll get them next time 😉 Was fishing a beach over the weekend that had two ridges/ banks ,feckin nightmare thought i had a fish every time untill it went light 😄🤦♂️ Enjoyable vid mate 🎣
Nice try Greg. Living in Folkestone I have been down there at low tide & I can tell you that you were fishing on a series of rock ledges. As stated by other people, fishing in close does limit tackle losses or fish further along at Sandgate Castle where the ground is more broken.
I know it's shaggy but im so intrigued by the area and adamant it must hold decent Conger or some good pollack in the summer. And I will defo give it a go close in for bass. I hate being defeated🤦🤣
Hiya Carl! You can't win 'em all. Trying a new spot that you know nobody else really fishes is always a risk but if I didn't try I would never know. All the best mate
Well done mate 👏 👍 as always fantastic video Looks like the plaice are coming in early mate Brighton is fishing really well I'm heading there this weekend hopefully
Even though you didnt catch it was Still an enjoyable vid , I've never seen those Lead lift things , very good idea when fishing snaggy ground , I'll get myself some of those. T shirt turned up in the week, looks great ,thanks for the sticker too . 👍🎣
Fishing the other side of the garage right now. Nearer the Hythe end. Just opened my Plaice account for the year. Undersized, but a plaice nonetheless.
Worm rig if you got a weight lifter on , when you first reel feel heavy due to the resistance could have been why. Or just tiny pins , great clip though keep trying.
I really enjoyed the video. Something different!! Nice hat 😉
Cheers william👍👍👍👍 not a bad hat I'd have to agree😁

I will do a short review on these tip lights as I've found pros and cons. They are ok
You learned about the spot for next time education makes for a better session on the next visit!
I'm not sure after a blank I will rush back there Kev. I might take a walk along that stretch on the next spring low
@@gsp lessons learned mate pay on the next visit !
Oh dear, but we all get sessions like that sometimes. Could it possibly have been velvet swimmers 🎣🐟🦀
I didn't think that, 24hrs later 🤦🤣 I haven't had crab activity for a while. I forgot they existed 🤣
@@gsp 🤭😂😂😂🎣🐟
Well done, no the feeling
🤣 I think we all do🤦
When do you think you'll be heading back to Shakespeare beach in dover next?
I'm not quite sure🤔 I'm gonna try and do a few sessions at different marks as I've only been there recently but will probably be back there in march👍

It wasnt just the initial turn it was a good 30yds of something putting pressure on it but im wondering now whether it was crabs clinging on🤔
@@gsp or squid.
At least you tried. Cant fault that👍🏻
I could of stayed indoors and been warm🤦🤣
“Trying” 😂
🤣
Why don’t you try using a rotten bottom over rough ground
I would have if I had packed my rotten bottom clips which I forgot 🤦 I would of used it to extent the rig too to lift the hooks off the sea bed
