As an IA who started as a roofer and has been adjusting for 8 years now, I really appreciated this conversation. Great conversation for anyone to listen to especially if they’re just getting started or thinking about getting started in the industry.
I’m a newly retired veteran and I am very much interested in becoming an IA. This is such great information. I was a recruiter for a few years and we learned the art of asking open ended questions. I never perfected it, but I can see how some of it can be helpful

Hello, I recently just passed my CA Public Insurance Adjuster Exam and am curious about the 4000 hour experience requirement. Some say its absolutely needed, others say experience in customer service will suffice, others say passing the state exam alone will be enough to be granted licensure, can you help to clarify this situation? I spent hours studying over the past few months and although I don't feel as if I wasted my time, I do feel like I wasn't properly informed about how long the process will actually take. thank you
