To me, Twilight Masquerade is a decent set. It’s not one that I had to make sure I had on release day or anything, but as for most sets, I’ll still try to complete it. And yes, the pull rates have been pretty tough so far.

I’m hoping the evee eventually drops to around $30.Not really into this set as a whole.As far as opening, I’m currently casually ripping crown zenith booster bundles until my local meijer runs out of them but there’s a ton stocked and they just sit there.
Bad pull rates and not much of a wow factor for me with any card. I say skip this set, buy the cards you want in about a month, and open crown as much as you can , while you still can.
Sets with better pull rates are waaaay better and the argument that trash pull rates are good doesnt work because the ar magikarp from paldea evolved is around $100 if you dont sell every card and are trying to complete sets then garbage pull rates are not fun and make many avoid sets you cant falsely inflate a set by making the pull rates worse
Paldea Evolved has 36 Illustration Rares and you get around 3 per booster box. On average you would need to open 3 cases (18 booster boxes) to pull a specific Illustration Rare. Your argument could work for smaller sets like Obsidian Flames, but Paldea Evolved has a monster amount of IRs compared to other sets. The Magikarp is also drawn by the same artist that drew the Giratina V alt art.

Ehhhh, too early for me to really say honestly. Bad pull rates are interesting though, makes the chases feel like chases :)
