  • On June 20 and 22nd, the former Hobo Railroad ran the Leo caboose on shove moves for the "Grandite" opening of the railroad. The caboose uses a M3, which was previously worn on alco S3 1186. 1186's last time running a train was in fall 2018, and may not run another train ever again since the new owners don't have interest in it.

pretty sure it was louder than it was in winnipesaukee last year even, now that they can blow it all the way here

@@Mountaindivisionrailfan252 yea she was working just like it was then. Even Collin was impressed when he saw videos of mine from that day.

@@Mountaindivisionrailfan252 it was also weird because in the first shot, it didn’t sound like bell #4 was working but in all the other shots, it worked beautifully. I’d say that it would need a bit of use to warm up but I don’t think that’s it because horns don’t work that way.

@@coasternamegenerator5611 it needs more tuning, I'll get to it eventually

@@granitestaterailfanproductions yea I think 1590’s 25 might need a bit of fixing up too. Similar-ish issue where it sounds perfect at full blast yet the 25 doesn’t even make a peep at half blast.
