Simply the best I’ve heard. This performance puts Giuliani in the most sensitive yet powerful light....

Hello, I am curious aboit this form of writting. If it were not for tech. (Ie speaker and mics) would the giitar be inaudiable and therefor an unbalanced form

Would be the best classical guitarist of this modern age and generation, IMHO. His tone production is so beautiful, reminding of The Maestro JB. Not of the same tone, sound of course but the musical interpretation underlying.

Que lastima la calidad de la amplificación!😪 ( no es el bello sonido natural de Dervoed) ...buen intento de adaptación 👍

With a John Price guitar you don't need any amplification.

@cxxc6 We should find a common sense in the meaning of "terrific playing". It seems that to most guitarists "playing well" means just being able to reproduce all the notes that appear on the score. I would go a little further than that. Maybe "playing" means also being able to produce a GOOD sound (and this is NOT the case...), to play, like an actor, the role which is suggested by the score, and to add to that score all which is not notated but is suggested by the CULTURAL KNOWLEDGE of that musical period. I haven't heard anything like this in this performance. I just heard someone hiding behind the wall of the moving sound of the strings, choosing wrong tempos, and begging the strings to vibrate and to produce timbres in his place. Maybe some disappointment is adequate... but it seems that nowadays audiences have no longer ears!!!

@cxxc6 beh... me lo hai chiesto e ti ho risposto... d'altronde se a te piace la lasagna e io ti chiedo se ti piacciono le gallette integrali al miglio senza sale... mi risponderesti allo stesso modo.... no???
