I really hope Phil goes back and sings his old songs. I connected to his first two albums he put out… they were so beautiful and deserve so much more recognition.

One of the best worship songs.....Ever. Yet, it seems somewhat of a rare and hidden jewel. Please Mr Wickham, release an updated version that will show off the beauty of your song and voice.
This is the first song I heard from him. It is truly a humbling song.

I just went through kidney surgery twice this week, and this song gave me strength and confidence on times of doubt. God is awesome...
The thing that I like about this song is that he is singing about Grace as if it's an actual entity. When you think about it that way, your perspective on God's grace changes for the good.

I do not believe in GOD, but the fact remains, i keep listening to this song, it is a masterpiece. Amazing voice and Talent. You don't need to believe in GOD to appreciate what's beautiful.

I look and see that a lot of people really enjoy this song, and i do too. However this song means a lot more to me than just the beauty of the music...this song changed my life. I couldn't be more grateful to the artist than i am today, because if things didn't happen the way things did i don't know where I'd be. God works in many different ways, but his music is what had the biggest impact on me.
There should be a cover for the electric guitar parts. The harmony on the recording in the album is unbelievable

Every time I hear a new song by this dude...I bloody cry. Obviously a kin resonance. It is the soundtrack [to my life] that I have been praying for. The first time I heard this music...I was almost in shock that I actually liked...really like it. This is not the typical contrived "Christian Music" I am used to. This is a transparently genuine reflection of this person's soul and the struggle it faces being in the world juxtaposed to being a true believer. I am so deeply touched always.

I wish there was an acoustic cd of his out there. All the songs he has done acoustically sound amazing! Sure I can listen to them on a computer, but besides that we can't get the acoustic version.

@vanbeekrecordings Amen! i hear what your saying ive been struggling with lust really bad and everytime i come running back to Him and His grace saves. I yearn for him so bad but my human nature beckons me back to sin and im fighting with all ive got and im just lost sometimes but songs and prayers like this get me back and i never stop fighting, never will. Only when you see all the ugliness in the world you appreciate beauty :) Without Darkness you wouldn't know what light is, without misery you wouldn't know happiness. Without wrong you wouldn't know right. No one needs to tell you what is wrong and what is right. Everyone is born with the capacity to differentiate write from wrong. like i said before, it's all a matter of perspective.

Lol all of that is true my friend but who's the one that created the darkness? Who's the one who created the capacity to feel emotions such as misery? The credit in the end always goes to God. Whether or not you believe in him is your choice because, God, created you with free will to believe what you want. I am glad that you comment though. It's funny to see us squirm when you come up with a good point lol.

You know I'm probably going to be hammered for this. But I'm really tired of seeing top comments about how an atheist person just loves Christian music. As a Christian I don't really want to vote that up. The highest of fives if you are an atheist who enjoys this music but Christianity isn't about music. You're missing the point if you are an atheist or Christian who just listens to this for the sake of listening to it. Namely if you can take away anything from it you should find Christ's love.
Maybe you'll enjoy the source of inspiration for this music?

this is tuned a half step down. very easy to play, your playing open chords in the verse, G, D, Am, C. You could just play the normal way though.
