Thank you to all who pray. Sometimes I forget to pray with thanksgiving. God has never given me a day without something in it that I should be thankful for. Right now I thank Him for all of you.
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗WHY would anyone put off the most important decision they could ever make in their lives concerning eternal life? If you die today are you going to heaven? In 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 The apostle Paul tells us what the gospel is: "Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Gospel means "good news." Your debt has been paid, the death penalty has been paid, you are free. Matthew 18:3 - Jesus said: "Unless you become like this little child you will not enter the kingdom of heaven." This is how to be saved, it is simply child like, as simple as ABC: A - Admit that you are a sinner. This is where that godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance for sinning against a righteous God and there is a change of heart, we change our mind and God changes our hearts and regenerates us from the inside out. Romans 3:10 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (We are all born sinners which is why we must be born spiritually in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven). Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The wages of sin is death, in other words our sin means that we have been given a death sentence, we have the death penalty hanging over our heads, that's the bad news. But here's the good news: the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith & this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. B - Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and that God raised Jesus from the dead. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was. Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. C - Call upon the name of the Lord. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of lords and the King of kings. Romans 14:11 For it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God." Don't wait until later, do this now. Romans 10:13 For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." "O God, I am a sinner. I'm sorry for my sin. I want to turn from my sin. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son; I believe that He died on the cross for my sin and that He was buried and You raised Him to life. I have decided to place my faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior, trusting only in His shed blood as sufficient to save my soul and to take me to heaven. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen."
I have thought about all of you pastors that have had your lives so drastically changed through this pandemic. I know that you miss your congregation so much and must feel lost at times. But through it all You have chosen to give us words of encouragement each day and I truly thank you for this. I have prayed for all of you! God bless you greatly!
This is so good and true ! I have wondered because I see some pastors close up and just waiting till they can open again and then there are pastors like this who know the church isnt a building and to keep reaching the people.

3 are below the age of accountability and the adults won’t listen to me. I have tried numerous times and they either tell me to be quiet or just stare at me. I have told the babies that God loves them and will carry them to heaven in his arms. Hopefully before it is too late they will wake up. Makes me sad

Agreed. It's difficult to be happy now, in this world, the way it is and I believe there's a reason for that. Jesus is trying to get our attention. His sheep hear HIS voice. Thank you Max. I really love the analogy about the fish and taking it out of the water. That's how I've felt for so long.

What a great perspective! I am usually an optimistic person. But since the beginning of this year, I have been internally upset, depressed, and going through the motions of daily life. I long to be with Jesus and pray continuously that he comes to rescue us NOW. I am glad to hear that my unhappiness serves the purpose of longing and praying to the Lord Jesus. It gives me some comfort.
I ask that too... but as I am reading your question... I felt an answer in my heart for you and me..... He's never early, never late, and if we can just keep enduring... it gives yet another day for someone to come to Him. Much love.
You thank God for unhappiness then ask for prayer for your unsaved spouse. Will the answer to prayer make you even more unhappy? Or will it bring you joy and peace? The two cannot be reconciled. This man is a charlatan pure and simple.

I ask for a prayer that I am on the right path to the father. I dont know why Im afraid Im not..I suddenly woke up one day and realized I was going the wrong way away from god and trying to reconnect...I thought I always had a relationship with him, but suddenly was afraid? You are so right, Max. I truly long to be in heaven with our Father. The 3 “W’s” are spot on during this pandemic! Being put back into our element on earth would be a good start to find joy again, but this season in this life is incredibly testing. So I appreciate your message and prayers for me to survive this horrific time.
God is exposing sin and brokenness and unresolved hurts in my family. My husband and I have lived, limping for a long time. But, now, with adult children, all living here, with their problems, it is overwhelming me and I feel very hopeless. I know this world is not my home. I know Jesus is near to the crushed in spirit. But, I’m hurting. My earliest prayer as a new teen believer was ‘let not those who hope i’m Thee be put to shame though me.’. I’ve come full circle....praying that again. Thank you for being here for me.

Thank you. I learned recently that I am not a candidate for surgery. GOD is teaching me the gift of suffering...hard to think of being disabled for life unless GOD intervenes...BUT GOD is trustworthy whether He heals me or not.
My wife had a dream one night that see visited Heaven. She saw a beautiful pasture and Jesus was standing in that pasture. She was in total bliss and her heart filled up with so much love and happiness that she fell at his feet and could not stand up. There was so much love it was everywhere, it was physically overwhelming and she could not even stand in his presence but fell to her knees than on her back. As she lay there said over and over, “I love it here, I love it here and I am never leaving”, but Jesus was speaking with her, telling her what she must do than mentioned to her it was not yet her time and had to return. She told him , “No, I am not leaving and poof she was back in her bed awake. My wife had that dream many years ago and has not forgot one detail of the beauty and awesomeness of her dream. When she was a small child she use to cry to the sky and ask it why was she here because she had a difficult childhood and knew there was something better....She wasn’t a Christian back than but knew in her heart that this was a temporary dwelling place. She now calls Earth the “hood” in the universe.
Oh he is richly blessed already.. from simple sheep who think a soothing voice and bunch a books = God's wisdom. Like the saying goes: sheep spend all of their lives in fear of the wolf, only to be eaten by the shepard in the end. Lucado is the shepard.
Thank you Max for such joy and peace transmitted from Christ through you to us. My prayer is that I would stay under the almighty heavenly father's wing and find my peace and joy in Him. I get so fearful for the end times and take my eyes off Him. I pray I will stay connected at ALL times in Him. Thank you again Max for your time.
I need prayer. I am all 3: weary, wounded and worried. I posted this before but my parents and husband all died with in 3 months (Dec 2019 to March 2020). All were followers of Jesus! My heart is so lonely. Thank you.
I pray L-rd that you will reach deep down into Cathy's soul and fill her with truly a love and comfort only you know. Send her a friend during those moments when she just needs someone there for her. Show her now how to move forward during this difficult time. Give her your strength and grace. Let her know in various ways you are right there with her. I've been very unhappy and sad since my wife passed away 7 years ago, and a different type of grieving since our only child She joined the Air Force and is now Married and Expecting and hardly hear from her. The Loneliness is heart wrenching. I know I'm not alone cause Jesus is with me, but I need Christ Jesus with Skin in my lonely life.
@Jill Comfort I asked my daughter if I could come see her for the delivery, but since shes in the military it's a Big Fat No and I'm in Nevada. Trust in Jesus is the only thing Getting me through. Jesus come soon please. I take it your hubby isn't a believer? My daughter Married an unbeliever so they are unequivocally yolked, and I preached that to her from a young age and it was her desire to have a Christian Husband, but she got smitten by looks. They fight all the time and only been married almost a year.
Hi Mitch, My husband passed in 2011, afterwards I turned to Jesus. Only one of my three children stuck with me, the other two have not found Jesus yet. It feels like 3 people died that day, its so sad but I have hope that Jesus can save the other two in his perfect timing. I do agree with this video that our home is not of this world. My spirit tells me Jesus is at the door and we will be going home soon.
Praying that God gives you the companionship you desire. I’m married with kids and still feel very lonely most days😞 living in a new state with no friends or family and no job. It’s really hard for me.

emma lane Wow that was so poignant and beautifully worded. I agree whole heartedly. Often times I feel like Jesus is not there, that the Holy Spirit is not in me, but FEELINGS are not facts. He is ALWAYS in the trenches with us, and His power gives us strength. Every time I conceptualize eternal life my mind cannot grasp it, but it puts me in awe and gratitude. Father God, I take this moment to lift up jimmy in the name of Jesus. Father defeat the work of the enemy who is at work to deceive his mind and heart. Remind him of your promises and eternal glory in Christ Jesus, the son of the living God, and May he meditate on Your word and promises. Father may you lift him from any spirit of anxiety, depression, hopelessness, and/or feeling of rejection. Fill him with your Holy Spirit and point him towards the cross whenever he feels defeated by the difficulties of life. I pray you surround him with your love, mercy, and abundant grace. May he find true joy in You in every season and circumstance of his life. In Jesus name amen.
I feel like I don’t have the presence of the Holy Spirit anymore. I feel alone when I never felt like this before. Ive been a mature Christian for over 20 years Baptist’s speak only tongues and had words of knowledge all the time... It’s very scary because I wonder about did I stay backslid too long that he handed me over and cast me out. Please pray for me 🙏 Does anyone feel like this? If so. What are you doing about it?
I almost feel like I don’t deserve goodness now because I’m doing things to feel alive in the flesh and they are not pleasing to God but I don’t know what else to do to go on every day but drink smoke and see my boyfriend and be intimate with him. I need to be restored but I don’t know how to be I pray and feel like no ones there and I don’t hear anything in my spirit. I’m desperate for restoration... 😞

I ask for a prayer that I am on the right path to the father. I dont know why Im afraid Im not..I suddenly woke up one day and realized I was going the wrong way away from god and trying to reconnect...I thought I always had a relationship with him, but suddenly was afraid? Appreciate any prayers and words of wisdom...Im reading and watching all manners of pastors everyday now. Thank you!
You are so right, Max. I truly long to be in heaven with our Father. The 3 “W’s” are spot on during this pandemic! Being put back into our element on earth would be a good start to find joy again, but this season in this life is incredibly testing. So I appreciate your message and prayers for me to survive this horrific time.
God is exposing sin and brokenness and unresolved hurts in my family. My husband and I have lived, limping for a long time. But, now, with adult children, all living here, with their problems, it is overwhelming me and I feel very hopeless. I know this world is not my home. I know Jesus is near to the crushed in spirit. But, I’m hurting. My earliest prayer as a new teen believer was ‘let not those who hope i’m Thee be put to shame though me.’. I’ve come full circle....praying that again. Thank you for being here for me.

Thank you. I learned recently that I am not a candidate for surgery. GOD is teaching me the gift of suffering...hard to think of being disabled for life unless GOD intervenes...BUT GOD is trustworthy whether He heals me or not.

My wife had a dream one night that see visited Heaven. She saw a beautiful pasture and Jesus was standing in that pasture. She was in total bliss and her heart filled up with so much love and happiness that she fell at his feet and could not stand up. There was so much love it was everywhere, it was physically overwhelming and she could not even stand in his presence but fell to her knees than on her back. As she lay there said over and over, “I love it here, I love it here and I am never leaving”, but Jesus was speaking with her, telling her what she must do than mentioned to her it was not yet her time and had to return. She told him , “No, I am not leaving and poof she was back in her bed awake. My wife had that dream many years ago and has not forgot one detail of the beauty and awesomeness of her dream. When she was a small child she use to cry to the sky and ask it why was she here because she had a difficult childhood and knew there was something better....She wasn’t a Christian back than but knew in her heart that this was a temporary dwelling place. She now calls Earth the “hood” in the universe.

I've been very unhappy and sad since my wife passed away 7 years ago, and a different type of grieving since our only child She joined the Air Force and is now Married and Expecting and hardly hear from her. The Loneliness is heart wrenching. I know I'm not alone cause Jesus is with me, but I need Christ Jesus with Skin in my lonely life.
May The Lord be with you in your grief and loneliness. Will be praying for you.
@Jill Comfort I asked my daughter if I could come see her for the delivery, but since shes in the military it's a Big Fat No and I'm in Nevada. Trust in Jesus is the only thing Getting me through. Jesus come soon please. I take it your hubby isn't a believer? My daughter Married an unbeliever so they are unequivocally yolked, and I preached that to her from a young age and it was her desire to have a Christian Husband, but she got smitten by looks. They fight all the time and only been married almost a year.
Hi Mitch, My husband passed in 2011, afterwards I turned to Jesus. Only one of my three children stuck with me, the other two have not found Jesus yet. It feels like 3 people died that day, its so sad but I have hope that Jesus can save the other two in his perfect timing. I do agree with this video that our home is not of this world. My spirit tells me Jesus is at the door and we will be going home soon.

emma lane Wow that was so poignant and beautifully worded. I agree whole heartedly. Often times I feel like Jesus is not there, that the Holy Spirit is not in me, but FEELINGS are not facts. He is ALWAYS in the trenches with us, and His power gives us strength. Every time I conceptualize eternal life my mind cannot grasp it, but it puts me in awe and gratitude.

I take this moment to lift up jimmy in the name of Jesus. Father defeat the work of the enemy who is at work to deceive his mind and heart. I feel like I don’t have the presence of the Holy Spirit anymore. I feel alone when I never felt like this before. Ive been a mature Christian for over 20 years Baptist’s speak only tongues and had words of knowledge all the time... It’s very scary because I wonder about did I stay backslid too long that he handed me over and cast me out. Please pray for me 🙏 Does anyone feel like this? If so. What are you doing about it?
I almost feel like I don’t deserve goodness now because I’m doing things to feel alive in the flesh and they are not pleasing to God but I don’t know what else to do to go on every day but drink smoke and see my boyfriend and be intimate with him. I need to be restored but I don’t know how to be I pray and feel like no ones there and I don’t hear anything in my spirit. I’m desperate for restoration... 😞
