- We go behind the scenes with one of the most iconic denim makers, Levi's Vintage Clothing.
Formed in 1999, Levi's Vintage Clothing started as "a celebration of the history of our brand", and takes as its inspiration a denim and workwear archive of unparalleled depth. In this film film, Mr Miles Johnson, design director of the brand, takes MR PORTER through the painstaking process of reproducing original Levi Strauss garments that are exact in every way, down to the very last rivet.

Levi’s twist was good I still have a jacket of the twist style today but it’s not denim

I am aSouth African 64 years old ,started wearing Levi’s in 1967 USA Made. What’s available today will never replace what was manufactured then. The denim is not the same nor the cut. I have finally found the 502 zipper fly to be the best model available. Still love the history and style.

This guy is wrong,LVC startet in 1996 not in `99. I´m wearing today a 1955 501 from 09.1997 (code on tag).The heaviest and best denim that LEVIS used.Today its not the same anymore...maybe in future..?
