While i Agree somewhat. id suggest watching both the american and japanese versions. the american ones link together over a over arching story. while the dubbing may be somewhat subpar. its a good show. The japanese ones are good to watch as stand alone series.

I watch this Transformers show in English that is Transformers Energon but the only thing they hadn't gotten this show English dub is the theme song Transformers Superlink theme song from the Japanese version of Transformers Energon.
I agree energon or Superlink does have like an interesting story and tried to do something new but the reason why people think it's so bad is because of the 3D animation but for me I don't mind it.
I just finished the series, and I'll be honest, I really liked it. I think it had sloppy writing in places. Cough, Demolisher, cough. However, I thought it had a really interesting and unique story. Plus, I never found myself board, it was always entertaining even when it was stupid. I also thought the ending was really bittersweet. I even got a bit emotional when Scorponok/mega Zerak died and Roadbuster/a Ironhide realises that he remembered Alpha Q. So overall, I liked it
Yeah, Transformers Energon was amazing. I consider it to be the best show in transformers history. The cartooning done for everything was amazing and the animation is a higher quality than a cartoon which I can appreciate having over regular 2D. This show introduced space bridges and using cartoon background for CGI in later shows. It may not have been perfect, like any tv show, but it delivered above and beyond.

I grew up with it so i like it but, Ive watched it in both languages. Still much better in Japanese imho like an actual anime.
