If each episode took about 10 months, How many episodes were being produced simultaneously?

This is totally false information. If it takes ten months to do a single act, as many episodes as there are they would have had to start making fairly odd parents in the 1800s. So your producing multiple episodes at a time or something else he's not saying is happening. People aren't stupid dude.
According to Craig McCracken (creator of “The Powerpuff Girls” & “Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends”), each Powerpuff episode took six months to produce, while each Foster’s episode took 2 weeks to produce due to using Adobe Flash, Illustrator, and AfterEffects.
This is why japan never gives their animators rest so they can pump out constant episodes
Flash was a game changer that reduces the manpower's stress of older animation techniques like those made by Disney Classics. Today's software is getting more sophisticated but it's still time consuming to make.

How's that possible? If there's 100s of episodes and they all take 10 months, wouldn't it mean it's taken them 10+ years to write the show lol? Are they really hiring so many writing teams to get it all done quicker

And that’s why I work in 3D. I don’t have to make frame by frame. I make the scene, animate the movements, animate the camera, then render. Boom, done. Can get an entire 30 sec commercial done in about 2 days. If I was planning on making a show I would say, 1 episode a month, and an entire season per year. Working alone too I should add. If you got a team then I can only imagine.
