Krystal Myth VOEZ mostly follows the beat or the voice in the song. For example, in the beginning, VOEZ does not follow the piano. Instead, it follows the violin portion of the song. But I feel as if this is my personal preference, because I found VOEZ first instead of Deemo or Cytus. But I’ve played without the music many times before on VOEZ, and honestly you just have to remember the song and the beat that it has. There are times where VOEZ is just complete chaos and there’s no way in following the beat to the song as the diamonds are going down incorrectly, but that’s pretty rare. But as an example to beat following, The song Wilt on VOEZ (special mode) follows only the beat to the song, and not the vocals. Look it up, or try it out. It’s a bop.

Voez and Deemo have a critical flaw that is revealed when muted. They're rhythm games lacking rhythm in their gameplay. Some songs are forced to emulate it in their step chart but you can see here from the nonsense on Voez especially that there is no connection to the heart of the song, it's beat, while Cytus is incapable of ever knowing a second of it's existence without being given life by the beat. It can't function without the heart. Deemo and Voez somehow do. But they're dead inside, under all the pretty colors.
Would highly disagree with that. Rather would argue of the three Cytus is the one that requires music the least due the way it plays. To my knowledge most people prefer to play Cytus without the hit sound. Deemo on the other hand straight up has you playing part of the piano (or other instrument) of the song, if you fail hitting the note or simply miss the right timing, the actual sound of the piano (or instrument) will also be off. That combined with the fact that in a lot of the harder songs it becomes incredibly difficult to play the notes purely by sight since often there is a mental disconnect between the visuals of the notes and the actual timing of them, this is especially apparent in trills (or the entirety of run boys run, god damn that track to hell)
You only say that because you have probably never actually played VOEZ. Even the lanes themselves go along to the beat, and in special+hard mode you have to tap along to both the main beat and the background notes. I often find myself turning the volume on my headphones all the way up so I can hear the underlying beat that’s being played out on screen. On the flip side, you can also say that Cytus isn’t aesthetically pleasing at all, and is only the bare bones minimum needed for a rhythm game. Narfirnoz TNG I remember my Cytus cherry. There were only 240000 hits on the Millions counter, and everything was locked up. Got to see the chapters open up one by one. Cool experience. The Millions chapter was so unexpected and rewarding.
I'm team Deemo. I haven't played the other game so I shouldn't jump to favorites. If all they have is songs then they are instantly liked less then Deemo. It has great story and has a little bit of gameplay outside the songs.
VOEZ is harder than both, but you can score All Perfect easily in VOEZ due to Max Perfect and Perfect combo. Try out VOEZ dude! It has a brighter atmosphere than Deemo and Cytus. I personally like Deemo though lmao
Really need to get myself an iPad. Getting too many lag hiccups on Cytus 2 right now and it's not because my tablet is weak. Rayark games are just too badly optimized on Android. Nexus 9 with strong CPU and GPU still lagging on a simple rhythm game.
Deemo has a better storyline than VOEZ lmao. Although, VOEZ is easier to score with Max Perfect and Perfect combo. Deemo is harder to get all charming. VOEZ is definitely harder than Cytus though. In all meaning, all the rhythm games Rayark made aren't trash :3

个人感觉 voez是真正的上手容易但是想要弄好确实非常难的 试过好几遍难度15 的 总有一两个地方真的按不到
cytus对我这种多种色盲的人实在是弄不来 而且还要熟悉那个摇摆的线 有时候连easy都会弄混 但是如果只是点的话还是deemo会好一点
deemo比voez感觉要简单一点 lovelive的赶脚。速度方面其实玩久一点就不会说难了毕竟这个是可以练的
就从这个曲子来讲个人认为还是觉得cytus最难（色盲不能怪我啦！还有突然出现的点X的） voez最简单（用的最长时间练习就是了我也不知道咋搞的）

Cytus has good songs as well and it's from Rayark. But to me my favorite is Deemo. And "Planet Quest" is another rythm Game that I love it
