Mid to mid+ Euro games are my and my primary game group's favorites so this is one that I will be looking into. As always I appreciate your honest and well thought out opinions.
Awesome! Glad to hear you like the format - a bit haphazard this time round, but that will even out with practice, mainly it's just good that once I've got it down, it will enable me to do more reviews without impacting other content.
I like the shorter format reviews! Great stuff. Honestly, you're one of my go to reviewers, but I often scroll past some areas because of length and repetition. Thanks!
Awesome review, Boss! I agree about the busy board - they’re going to create a “bigger” problem if they make things smaller! I love the size of the meeples and the artwork- however, hopefully there will be more art in the cards because the cover is selling the game!
The aesthetics of this game pull me in, so I'll have a look. Finally a game board that looks interesting again. I do like games that fit in smaller boxes, but surely having everything too small makes it less enjoyable to play. I like the Quick Draw format :)
Small boxes are nice and all, but we are totally fine with TTR sized boxes, lets' make the most of that space. Like the look of these one, the mechanisms have me interested. None that I have come across yet in the games I own. I definitely agree that the board should be made bigger rather than smaller. When so much iconography is involved larger is better. Will be following this campaign and checking out some gameplay to see if it is something that will get played. The last release from the publisher (Autobahn) I wasn’t that blown away with some of the components and final version. It also has some of the smallest cardboard pieces to man so playing with others is a nightmare as they always loose pieces from the table on the floor.
They do seem to make size an issue as I remember Autobahn having component issues on release. I'm making it more clear here that they need to step that up.

The art style and colour palette certainly scream Bikoku (a game I rather like) but, for me, the real seller here is the adaption of the Tzolkin-style passage of time mechanic. Very exciting game if they can resolve the small design questions to achieve a very playable, middle weight Euro.
That's the main reason - it's not a review therefore I can't pin a rating but I will point out pros and cons. The player count/score therefore would go against that. But don't worry, you'll see that on normal reviews (whether full or quick draw) as normal. ;-)
Preview format good. Zero interest in the game though. No theme, unappealing art, fiddly implementation... Seems a hot mess. Which is fine since I'm planning to cut way back on any new games for quite a while. As far as a comparison, I think Bitoku looks miles better. Appreciate the content.
Zero interest in any Kickstarter anything, ever. KS is the scourge of the hobby. It's a drug for many gamers. Zero interest in any Asian art or themed game. Still, I watch for Luke's take and personality. He's honest and I will continue to comment honestly.
Strongly disagree. When I lookxat my collection all my favourite go to games are kickstarters I either backed or used to be kickstarters that later were then published. Many of my favourite games probably wouod never have come out without Kickstarter. Gamesxlike Tainted Grail, Spirit Island, or smaller games by unknown people like darwins choice would not be in my collection. Of coursexthere are negative sites to kickstarter, the fomo, the manipulation, the need to alway go bigger and give more stuff can become too much. But generally I feel like the hobby as a whole has benifitted a lot from kickstarter. Even if you don't back, I bet later in retail you get quiet a few games that first came out through KS

Thanks a bunch!
My husband and I really enjoyed this format. Short but packed with so much information! We love your channel! Such great content.

I appreciate that!!
Nice preview Luke, interesting looking - think I'll refrain from backing but one to keep an eye on!

Thanks for watching!
Large boards stress me out. But my Fitbit is happy when I have to stand up and move around a table to play a board game.
Frostpunk would work well then! :P

Very great format. I tend to say short mini reviews are always better and snappier.
Love it luke!
PS: that game is a pure “whatever, pass” for me

I hope they do, but I'm not holding hope!
I don't mind a busy board, as long as it has spacing. The review format is great, I would like to know how it plays solo though.
Just had the multiplayer rules, I think solo would be a different affair.
Hello - this is a WEIRD question, but here goes: How big is the box (in cm)? :D
I don't have the box any more, but rough guess it's a little larger than a carcassonne box
@@TheBrokenMeeple Thank you 😂
Eternal Palace was unplayable because of its size. I'm not willing to give ally cat games another chance with this one.
My main question always is: how does it play solo? I don’t mind more condensed reviews, but i do miss the player-count/score overview at the end.
since these are previews (?), i understand you’re not going to pin a score on it, of course

You can check Rahdo's playthough, as he plays with the solo mode.
How does it play at 2?
Fine and
less chaotic with the conveyor belts.
