I just discovered this feature myself by accident and I was really mind blown of how much my city has changed. I'm born in 2001 and discovering this feature made me feel like I really did time traveled back in time. It even unlocked forgotten memories I had.
I tried this on mobile and found out a lot about my house like how before the tree was WAY smaller than it was now and how there was still the old cars that we had. Thank you!

I have just discovered that the previous owner of my house, from whom I bought it, deceived me. He told me that the house is not very old and was built in 2015. Now I have found out that my house has been there since 2001.
So google maps dose update the satellite images frequently because when I looked up my old address on maps it looks like they haven't uploaded it in a couple of years
is it somehow possible ? for instance to see between certain hours at a certain location on a specific date of the past...i need to see about a person in distress who had been stuck between a construction site and some railroad without the possibility of escaping, and unfortunately died on a train accident...any possibility to reach out for such data please?

Google sometimes deletes streetview from particular streets or cities, don't know why they do it but it might be for privacy reasons

When I look at Google maps for my area (in Australia) it identifies the image as a few months old when actually it is several years old. Why is this?
