I'm absolutely loving this style for the animation. I do like when the eyes and mouth are modeled into the character, but this animated + pixelated texture setup you guys came up with looks so incredibly expressive, and a little more fitting for the graphics in minecraft.
Side note, I've also tried animating the bodies as rigid boxes rather than giving them bending limbs, it almost seems harder to make it look natural, you all did an incredible job here. Loving this look.
I’m exactly the opposite. I don’t like the style of animation. I dislike the pixilated faces.

Yup, that's what layout is. Put just as much info in there for the animators to understand by looking at it.

I guess the last video was only uploaded around year ago, but I don’t think that video really counts as the usual exclusive behind the scenes content for this channel.
Also I just checked Element Shorts and... yeah, that one’s still just as dead as last time I checked.
I have liked all the videos you have released so far. But something about this music video just stands out as being just perfect with thw music. The camera movements, the cuts, every is just perfect.

They always make 2 versions for there colabs. Ending A and B- element always shows ending B with Steve saying “No” and A is whatever is more fitting to the actual song

Found the pixelated facial animations a weird choice. Doesn't work imo. I do like the non bending arms and legs like Mojang has been doing in their recent animations.

I noticed that the eyes and eye brows were really pixelated. Didn't you find a fix for that. Also, I did notice there was a slight change in style: rounded-off corners for the characters, and arms and legs not bending. Not quite sure how I feel about that second one yet.
Nah the pixel faces are a style choice and i love it so much because it makes element unique (they changed it sadly because people like you don’t like new things) i much prefer them getting rid of the bendy limbs because it is more like the game and mojang’s animation style
@@epic_guy01 all of the things are stylistic choices, and while i also think the no-bending (or no extra joints) looks good, the pixel faces (mixel faces rather) don't look too great in the way they are used, so i get why people didnt like them. if they were to follow more ridged outlines they look better (like in mojang approved animations, take the village and pillage update trailer for example) because visually it follows the shapes that fit the style but allow them to move about to create more expression
i also understand that it would make it far more difficult because it is harder to convey emotions and facial expressions, just like it is harder to convey poses without bending or adding joints.
they are obviously capable of doing it, but whether they want to do it for their own style of videos (not mojang contracted ones) im not sure, not everything has to be trailer level visuals
