God is Truth. Truth is everywhere. One can see and feel the truth. So we all see the gross truth. Some of us see the finer truth. Rarely some of us can feel the ultimate truth. In gross level we all see and feel God.❤
Pranam Swami Sarvapriyanda. A difficult exercise to pursue. Lots of complex situation arises in the worldly life, but in spiritual path it is total peace and calmness.
It is a pity that people pursuing religious preaching as profession has compulsory compulsion to talk in favour of existence of God everywhere, for otherwise they can't attract people, I am a free man and have no such compulsion. Sankhya of Kapila does not recognize existence of God. Adaityabad or nondualism does not speak of God but of Bramhan without any attribute. None of Upanishads recognize existence of God. Charbak philosophy denies existence of God. Daityabad or dualism says Bramhan is nothing but Vishnu, one of numerous Gods imagined by Hinduism. In Gita, Krishna declares that Bramhan is his subordinate. Hinduism is full of uncertainty about existence of God, while Christianity and Islam are true believers in existence of God. Here, Sarbapriyananda, while giving quotes of humorous stories in Kathamitra is laughingly telling, all are manifestations of God. Where do we stand now on question, whether God exists or simply creation of mischievous brains to earn livelihood?
@sanjoyghose1952 God is not an object to be seen, God is not something apart from you. "The Self [God] is ever-attained. Each one wants to know the Self. What kind of help does one require to know oneself? People want to see the Self as something new. But it is eternal and remains the same all along. They desire to see it as a blazing light, etc. How can it be so? It is not light, not darkness. It is only as it is. It cannot be defined. The best definition is 'I am that I am.'"~~Ramana Maharshi Ramana also said "God, Guru and Self are one." Words and concepts at best are pointers towards the Truth. Don't mistake the map for the territory, or the menu for the food.
@VedantaKesari Ramana Maharshi may say anything he believes. But, that does not mean that I am not supposed use my common sense to analyse what he had said. If self of everything including God, Guru etc., are same, why should we go to temple and worship? What for then Ramana Maharshi was a devotee of Shiva? If anybody truly believes that he himself is everything than he should worship himself as one Buddhist queen used to do in 800CE, as per Buddhist scripture. So, forget God or Devil and enjoy whatever you have in lieu of wasting time in listening these useless talks by people, who themselves have taken easy way out from difficulties of earning own livelihood.
@sanjoyghose1952 It appears you are an atheist with a great faith in the senses and a blind belief in physicalism, a.k.a., scientific materialism. Science itself rules out "common sense." Common sense used to tell people the world is flat, the sun revolved around the Earth, etc. The problem with scientific materialism is that it strays beyond empiricism and makes metaphysical assumptions. Are you familiar with the Idealism especially of George Berkeley and Bernardo Kastrup (the latter authored the book "Why Materialism Is Baloney." He has many videos on RUclips)? Swami Rama Tirtha summed up the the error of physicalism quite well: "What brought the senses into existence? The elements. How do you know of these elements? Through the senses. Is not that reasoning in a circle? This establishes the illusory nature of the world in the wakeful state." And here is David Bentley Hart's critique of naturalism: ubcgcu.org/2013/10/15/david-bentley-harts-provocative-take-on-naturalism/comment-page-1/ You should also familiarize yourself with Plato's Allegory of the Cave. Religion is all a matter of Awakening, it is simply knowing Who You Are.
@sanjoyghose1952 You are caught in words and forms. You are taking the map for the territory, the menu for the food. Words and methods are pointers to the Ineffable, the Transcendent. Longing, sincerity and humility are needed for Realization. Some people get there by worship. Some who are Realized still worship because they find it fun like dancing, hiking, reading or composing poetry, etc. Give up your small mindedness and limitations.

No one is telling you to believe anything. Do whatever you want. You also don’t have right to dictate what other people will do.
