this is genuinely the best interview I've ever seen Oliver do. thank you for asking such incredible questions and so many things I've always wanted to know as a long time Oliver fan. i was captivated the entire time and wish it could've gone on even longer. this made me so happy. wow, THANK YOU! :)
@littletreezr3 there is a website for renting stars, you have to pay for the registration so that they know you are serious, and they will give you the contact information for these people, like his managers or even oliver himself. just google it you will find it
Wonderful interview. I liked the comment on silliness because it is engaging and open to all audiences. As an almost 60 year old I took a bit of a risk to work as a volunteer usher for the Oakland show. In the balcony there were children maybe 10-14 yrs in OT wigs and having an amazing time (for openers as well). It warmed my heart and I believe your silliness allowed these kids to engage in arts. My favorite charity is a group that finds art for Oakland’s public school children who have had their budgets cut. After my shift, I joined the crowd at the rail in the floor and jumped until my calves were sore the next day (I hike 4 days a week so am a pretty fit 59 yr old). I am a fan now who literally had never seen your work before last week but was intrigued by the glimpse I saw when assignments were offered and will try to see future shows and productions. Thank you for being an amazing creative human being. I would love to see your take on an opera performed at the S.F. Opera (which I also enjoy, loved Omar this year). Cheers.
I was at the NYC show and the hand waving from the crowd was truly incredible. I've never seen anything like it before. I was in the balcony and I can clearly remember during swing and a miss that the entire audience (2K+ people) all waving their hands in unison. And it was with every single song. Unforgettable moment
Wonderful interview. I was at his LA concert and the LA DJ set and both were amazing. I'm so excited for everything he has planned. I always try to give him the energy he asks for at his shows. And I do appreciate how hard it must be to keep making simple, catchy songs that are still so good and unique. I can't wait to see his films eventually. I hope the DJ sets are as fruitful as he expects, and that he's able to build his art house. Even if it means he takes some time off from putting out music and touring. Whatever makes him happy. Also, he is looking fucking FINE.
This guy is aweful❤ His songs, texts, videos....I have great respect for him for his work and his ideas 🤗 This is a genius who hasn't recorded a single bad song yet.
True fans are here❤️
