Man, I miss Kyuranger. I remember when I first saw the Phoenix Voyager, and I thought “that’s an AWESOME LOOKING Space Shuttle!” I ordered a Phoenix shield & blade in October of 2017, but it never showed up.
Man, I remember watching this as a kid during ramadan and at sahoor. In 2019, I've been an addict on kyuranger, I've watch a shit ton of things related to it and listens the opening song all the time. Man what a wonderful yet dark times.
Eh, I get why they didn’t use all of them. Cerberus was only used once (to my knowledge), they didn’t have an in-series ranger that could/should use the Phoenix Voyager, and since the Red Ranger didn’t get a Battlizer/evolved form they couldn’t use Orion Battler without some MAJOR ass pulling! All in all, sad some couldn’t be used but totally understandable!
I'm betting on kerberios and kojishi voyager getting skipped, Orion battler is a coin toss, but the necessary Kyutamajin mechs feel like a guarantee to me.

I doubt we'll see kojishi or cerberus given the short run time of the series but orion is possible as a show only figure, with slim chance that he sees a toy release. Theoretically you could create SuperCerberus since the model is the same except you would have to remove the dog heads from the shoulders. You could also create KyutamaJin with Cerberus as well.
Man I love the concept. Like all PR and Super Sentai executions of the shows megazords wont always be loved but this is so cool. Im a sucker for stuff like these

Kar The Best Bandai of Japan let Bandai of America help out with the production and toy design for kyuranger, possibly to help the adaptation to power rangers go over easier(this was before Hasbro bought power rangers). So considering Bandai of America’s ... blunders in recent years with power rangers toys, im not surprised the mecha toys for the season feel kind of half assed and like the toy designers should have taken a little extra time on them.
Instead of doing Cosmic Fury and not using the original ranger outfits and gear, I came up with something even better: Power Ranger Star Strike. It's about a group of young astronauts (the red, yellow, green, and orange rangers) travel to space to find life on other planets. During that mission, they were captured and separated by the Dark Matter Empire, whose goal is to conquer the universe and destroy planets. The orange ranger is missing, but the red, yellow, and green rangers were saved by a rebellion group that's fighting the Empire, the Star Strike Black and Blue Rangers, and they received Power Capsules (Kyutamas) and Star Morphers (Seiza Blasters) all powered by the Rainbow Star, a powerful crystal that has contained the energy and power of every constellation in the universe. And together, they fight the Dark Matter Empire and save the universe.
In a LupinPat adaptation I’m toying with, I made a season 2 that brings in a third ranger team that uses some of these that weren’t used/named (the scales never got a name drop according to the PRWiki) and gave rangers to any that did make the cut but didn’t get a Ranger (like the eagle and the grizzly). Only one I couldn’t finagle in was the mini-lion since this version of the Red Ranger used a red recolor of Cerberus and thematically it wouldn’t have made much sense for any kind of upgrade. Most interesting thing I did with this team was made it that some of its members were the loved ones that made the Lupins become rangers in the first place (they were kidnapped but didn’t stay kidnapped, and then were sent on a mission without being able to tell their loved ones they were ok).
Awesome series, poor Mecha toy design. The way they combine is so unimaginative, the ship just looks like a torso with little transformation. They didn’t take advantage of that to allow more articulation (such as hip articulation), either.
Agreed with that statement. The mecha look great when combined, but not in single modes. The KyurenOh looks like it is levitating, due to how it balances, wish it had an ankle tilt

I want zords with at least SOME playability outside of Megazord Mode, and the only ones that are really interesting from the limbs are Gold and Silver, cause they actually have poses and can seemingly fight on their own. The other zords are glorified bricks with animal faces painted on

Jarred Forrider the Bear zord has wheels and can move fairly well. However...you’re forgetting that sacrifices need to be made with zords that become both arms and legs. Bandi would probably add more playability the others but I guess we’ll just have to wait until this senti becomes a power Rangers series
Oh man! I'm not sure what to do! I liked the Dino Fury Zords because the figures looked awesome and I loved the endless Possibilities of their formations cos of the lego lik feel. I want to buy these toys too but they feel a little too simplistic to me with the orb design. I still like it but I want like a Zord which combines into one BIG zord. Should I just go for these or does anyone have any other recommendations?

I can see why. Most of the smaller voyagers are very simplistic, minimalist almost. Really not the same as some of the older series.
Idk I actually liked these designs, they were so simple. it felt fun to play with the interchangeability, and kyutamajin looks amazing

I want zords with at least SOME playability outside of Megazord Mode, and the only ones that are really interesting from the limbs are Gold and Silver, cause they actually have poses and can seemingly fight on their own. The other zords are glorified bricks with animal faces painted on
Jarred Forrider ohh now i see where you’re going. I guess maybe I would add some playability to the sword fish...but the gold and silver Zord are good to go thanks to their possibility
@@michaelohare4583 even the Wolf, Bison, Bears, and Chameleon zords need some redesigning for additional playability. I think the Gold, Silver, and maybe the Eagle are the only good Limb Zords... the rest are just boring
Jarred Forrider the Bear zord has wheels and can move fairly well. However...you’re forgetting that sacrifices need to be made with zords that become both arms and legs. Bandi would probably add more playability the others but I guess we’ll just have to wait until this senti becomes a power Rangers series
Oh man! I'm not sure what to do! I liked the Dino Fury Zords because the figures looked awesome and I loved the endless Possibilities of their formations cos of the lego lik feel.
I want to buy these toys too but they feel a little too simplistic to me with the orb design. I still like it but I want like a Zord which combines into one BIG zord.
Should I just go for these or does anyone have any other recommendations?
