I am having such a freaking blast watching all of these. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I really hope you guys make it through the whole series. Gonna be sharing these!
Guys, your Goosebumps reviews are hilarious. I especially love all the clips you interject in there. And I'm pretty sure Amy is plotting to get all of you sick with the strange concoctions she mixes up. XD But yeah, thank you for making these. They really brighten up my day.
Well thanks for watching! The only thing that makes Amy's awful drinks worthwhile is knowing that she has to drink them too. That'll teach her to be a bad bartender.
On the subject of typos on the back of the Goosebumps books, Night of the Living Dummy isn't the only one. I was kind of waffling on whether or not to just wait and let you guys find this one on your own, but I can't control myself. Take a look on the back cover of Beware, The Snowman to see if you can spot it...
I think the dummies that are around while the spell that brings Slappy to life makes them come alive at some point.that would explain why in Night Of The Living Dummy 2 when Amy & Sarah are in trouble and they think it was their brother who saved them by breaking Slappy's head, only for it to actually be Amy's other dummy Dennis who saved them
Huh. So it was not a body jump. Also, they skipped the book as an episode... my guess is why want Slappy as a star not Mr. Wood who is seen only once. Also, just need one dummy.
You know, before Goosebumps, R.L. Stine was really into comedy writing. I feel like most of Goosebumps does have a tinge of goofy humor to it, but looking back, I think Night of the Living Dummy just gave him an excuse to write good jokes into the dialogue. In other books, sometimes there will be a character that tells jokes, but usually it's like in Say Cheese and Die where the whole point of the character is that he tells dumb jokes, not particularly good jokes.
Pretty sure I know why this wasn't made into an episode. The Vomiting green scene. Now, they could have pulled it off. It most likely would have looked like Monster blood on the low Canada budget, but they could have. But they chose not too, and I think its because of seriously "The Exorcist". After The Exorcist came out, any thing that tried to parody it on TV, on Children channels, the show would get canceled or forced to move to another channel. It happened to the old show Dinosaurs. They did an Exorcist parody episode called "Terrible Twos". And they had to switch to a Family channel instead of a kids channel. And knowing how kinda possessive Fox is of its brand, I'm guessing if Goosebumps took the risk, it would have been canceled or something. And they figured cutting out the Vomit scene would have made the episode bland, since that was like the best scene of the book.
Also there is an episode? It was one I watched as a kid and the only goosebumps episode I have remembered as it scared me the most. Did you guys just not manage to find it ?
Ahh ok :) I hope you do watch it when that book comes up then as I remember it being good :D Also love the Goosebumps shirt xD when will it be available in stores ?
Clip of the exorcist made me jump :( I love these episodes but I don't want to not be able to trust them D: You guys are amazing though :D I was worried when I started watching that because they were from 2013 you may not still be making them but one of the comments here says you are :D
Hate to break it to you, but that typo is present in all of the first printings. The book does still have the first edition value, but it doesn't have the one in a million typo value...
4:12 All I can say Jason, is Robbie Shapiro from Victorious brings a dummy to school everyday (but then again that was a Nick show and not 90s lol) I'm not saying it's not weird - you just asked so I answered xD
@@Stefan-ji2ek I read a rumor that there was an episode filmed but it was so horrific it was only aired once. That sounds way too good to be true, however.
@@Fuggettabouttitt I heard that supposedly they were going to adapt Night of the Living Dummy, having already built the prototype for Mr. Wood. However, due to the story's violent subject matter it was scrapped, and they instead adapted Night of the Living Dummy 2, using the original Mr. Wood doll for Slappy (which explains why Slappy in the TV show resembled Mr. Wood from the Night of the Living Dummy book).

+LadyDecember Not a typo, but we found an incorrect statement on the back of the next one as well.
I kinda love this
+Damon TacoBeans We kinda love you.
So apparently this episode was made but they claimed that it was too dark so they didn't show it.
That's been proven false unfortunately:/
This is my favorite Goosebumps Book, keep making more Drinking with Goosebumps!
An alcohol soaked goosebumps book, lets hope that's a first.

I've been binge watching this out of order today and was wondering, how long have you three known each other?
Bob and Ned are cousins, so forever for those two. And I met them in 7th grade... so like 17 years now, holy fuck.
Wow, I had no idea they were related. Thanks for getting back to me, Jason!

MORE VIDEOS!! I just watched all of these at once, and I wish there were more
#8 is up now! Thanks for watching!

EremikaHaven i think the climax was the best scene of the book
LMAO! I've remembered that typo on the back of that book since my childhood.
All three of you guys are funny, but Ned or Kevin is hilarious!
Shhh, don't encourage him! ;)

+Esther Kim Will do, thanks for watching!
Also there is an episode? It was one I watched as a kid and the only goosebumps episode I have remembered as it scared me the most. Did you guys just not manage to find it ?
+xXTashaBabezZXx There is an episode, but not based on the first Dummy book. I think the TV episode is based off the second or third Dummy book.
Ahh ok :) I hope you do watch it when that book comes up then as I remember it being good :D Also love the Goosebumps shirt xD when will it be available in stores ?
xXTashaBabezZXx We'll definitely watch it. Hahaha, I'll see where Ned is on DwG merchandise...

Slappy
Fun fact: I believe every copy has that typo; including the 2003 reprints. Yeah they fucked it up TWICE lol
My 2013 copy doesn't, with the brand new cover and behind the scenes, made in promotion of the Jack Black movie.
Should I get rid of my puppet now

Friends don't let friends have dummies.
Lol, true but I'm pretty sure the other teens on that show didn't like him... Sadly I don't think he had friends xD
what are those thicker goosebumps books they got on the shelf's?
+Fitz Rosenborg Monster Editions
SpiderMiles 123 oh, ok thanks
Fitz Rosenborg No problem
Lindy is talnted but a little evil when she scared her sister Kris, bit I like her help Kris in the end.
How many GooseBumps books are there?
62 books in the Original Series
Wait,When did Jason get glasses?!!!!!!
why didn't you guys watch the tv episode?
Because it was never adapted into one.

Why did you just end the speshil or the " episode "
Just want to say we were responsible for what I'm sure is going to be a wonderful relationship.
Heather Parrish hi Heather, how are you? Nice to meet you.
@@johnbakasmoothhotchocolate Not so smooth, chocolate.
OMPHALOS yeah there's REALLY nothing smooth about you!
I want a slappy
Ned messed up that night of the living dummy book
Why didn't RL Stine make a episode out of this single book
He only did Night of the Living Dummy 2
