지나가는 멜로디인데 다들 펜타곤 맘에 품고 살잖아요? 같은 회사라서 데뷔때부터 쭉 봐왔는데 벌써 젤 선배란게 믿기지가 않고 내가 다 뿌듯하다 ㅜㅜ 진짜 제발 지금보다 더 올라갈 실력이랑 끼인데 이번 프로로 꼭 더더 빛 봣음 좋겠다

애들이 소감 말할 때 펜타곤의 그동안의 활동 기간의 서사를 담았다고 했는데, 빛나리가 잘되고 바로 구설수 오르면서 많이 힘들고 그것을 같이 이겨내고 지금은 킹덤에서 1위를 하겠다는 내용이 잘 드러난 것 같다. 잘했어! 펜타곤!

솔직히 나 원래 펜타곤 몇명밖에 모르고 그냥 작사작곡 잘하는 아이돌 이렇게만 생각했는데 진짜 실력돌 맞는 듯 나 약간 응원하는 팀 펜타곤으로 바뀌고 있는 것 같아 ....ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 솔직히 이번 경연에서 펜타곤이 제일 잘한듯 개인적으로
Pentagon said that this performance tells their story. To me, it looks like they start with shine, the song that brought them a lot of attention and success. Next, the piano sound gets all distorted bc wooseok gets surrounded by masked demons which represent the haters and rumors that torn them apart. But then, hui, yuto, and yeoone rise from the ground and recover from the trauma of these rumors. Finally, all the members come together in the end to show the world that they are still united and stronger than ever bc PENTAGON IS THE KING.
I got goosebumps reading this.
They started with shine as everyone knew that song but then they changed to show that they’re more than that song and people shouldn’t sleep on them

I actually remember groaning when I heard Shine. I did stan during that time and it was an amazing song but I'm kinda sick of people only thinking of them for that. They are so much more than that song and all of their songs are incredible. They are versatile, talented, have been through so much and yet they are still so kind and understanding. I feel that I've seen them develop through this competition and no matter what I'm proud of Pentagon and proud that Unis are trying their best for them. I'll be mega disappointed if they don't win but everyone deserves it.
I hope they have gained recognition through this experience too and I can't wait for what the future holds now (I prey that they'll make it to Kingdom, but if they don't I'll continue to support them and love them and be mega proud of how far our boys have come).
In some ways having shine at the starts shows how much they've developed since that era and transformed into a group that really should be recognised.
회택이가 90초 퍼포먼스에 지금까지의 펜타곤 모습을 담았다고 했잖음..처음 빛나리로 시작했다가 어두운 분위기로 바뀌는 걸 보니 펜타곤이 빛나리로 인기를 얻었다가 이던 퇴출로 힘들었던 시간을 말하는게 아닌가 싶음.. 우석이가 주변 시선들에 고통스러워하고 자기를 둘러싼 이들을 떼어내는 걸 보면, 실제로 인터뷰에서도 힘들었다고 했고 그리고 좀비?소리가 나면서 댄스 브레이크를 하고 심장 소리가 들리는 걸 보니..뭐 죽었다가 다시 태어났다?? 그런 걸 연상케 하는거 같고 고통을 겪고 다시 태어났으니 이제 왕이 되겠다..뭐 이런 이야기인가?
90초가 10초로 느껴졌음 그만큼 홀려드는 무대 였다 펜타곤 사랑해 다음주도 기대할게ㅜㅜ

The instruction for the groups was to "prepare a 90-second performance that best describes who you are". PTG really took this to heart cuz what they did was to tell their story in this performance. They may not have done any of the stunts or elaborate choreography that other grps did (they did fantastic btw) but they showed their story which I think is one of the main reasons why they ranked 2nd-highest for this mission. A good performance is not always about dancing in-sync but it also includes the impact and emotion it gives to ur audience which I think PENTAGON conveyed fantastically.

펜타곤이 로드투킹덤 나온다고 해서 본방 챙겨봤는데 다시 봐도 흡입력 짱! 시간순삭인 무대였죠~ 다른 팀들도 모두 강렬한 무대들이었지만 가장 구성이 창의적인 무대였던 거 같아요~ 역시 펜타곤의 믿고보는 무대 앞으로도 기대되요~💙

후이님이야 모두 다 곡 잘만드는거 아시고 가장 최근 컴백 앨범에도 빗물샤워 닥터베베 등등 참여했어요 키노님도 off-road랑 봄눈, VIOLET, Die For You, lt s over, 밤에 비가 내리면 등등 유튜브에 키노 자작곡 치시면 정식음원으로 안나온것도 꽤 나오고 사운드클라우드에 키노베이션..(영어로..소곤소곤) 진호님도 펜타곤 - 오늘까지만, 소중한 약속 등등 있고요 유튜브 검색하면 정식은 아닌 곡도 좀 나옵니다! 여원님도 정식은 아니지만 큐브 유튜브에서 올려준 토닥토닥,가자,hope, 그녀의 목소리가 있구여 신원님도 작곡 참여한 저두요!!가 있구요 유토님도 동백꽃, 일본곡들 등 작곡 참여했어요(사운드 클라우드에도 몇개있습니다..) 우석님도 수많은 곡들에 작사를 참여하셨고요 사실 라운드1이랑 라운드2 때문에 사실상 다 작곡 작사한번은 해봤습니다 이게바로 찐자체제작돌이죠
2. 팬사랑
소통 개쩝니다 공카에 활동준비기간이 아닌이상 하루에 하나라도 안올라오면 오늘 왜 안올라오지 이럽니다.. 멤버가 많은것도 있고 애들이 자주 올리기도 해요 또 브이앱도 자주켜서 덕질할맛 지대로 나요..ㅠㅠㅠ어 쓰는 지금도 브이앱 알람 떴어요! 그리고 팬사랑 영상 찾아보면 진짜 마음 따뜻해집니다 개인적으로 저는 홍석이 브이앱에서 그 어떤 노래 부르고 유니버스들한테 잘하고있다고 말하는거에 위로 많이받았다면서 우리 유니버스들도 잘하고있다고 말해준게 기억남네요!
3. 실력
실력중시하는 큐브입니다. 예 큐브예요. 진호후이 우리 메보 개쩔어요 매거진호 > 스튜디오 음악당 > 후이 더콜 킬디스러브 순으로 보시면 끝입니다..진짜 후 우리 리보 홍석이 여원이도 쩌는데 노래하는 영상이 얼마 없어서.. 후 춤은 키노 커버댄스 모음 보고오심됩니당 후이 트리플에이치 365 개인직캠도요 그럼 끝!
+ 후이나온 브레이커스 무대 한번 봐보십쇼,, 보디가드 멋있고요 네비게이션 청량하고 그 하나는 섹시하고 그냥너무좋아요

A lot of the performances were good, but this one actually felt like a story. They start with Shine, move into a nightmare, and then come out fighting.
I love how they utilized the stage and multiple camera angles.
Pentagon is King all right!
I watched the other performances amd they were all really cool and all of these boys are really talented but Pentagon hit the hardest. They're really underrated dancers and they turned this to their strength 💪❤️

i’m genuinely so electrified by this performance like there are goosebumps on my arms and no thoughts in my head bc all i think about is kang hyunggu each day every day
Hyunggu(Kino) was right. He said he was worried because their performance was planned in such a way that they will play off with the camera and seeing it as a live performance by the audience will not encapsulate the full impact of their stage. They were probably aware that there will be no live audience for this performance (considering COVID measures) so they planned the performance that way. Their performance was more theatrical insofar as it aims to tell a story which was very different with the rest of the performances which showcased full performance stunts.
So watching this via livestream I was so nervous during the rankings. The other teams did really well and their performances were quite impactful in live stage. So I was ecstatically surprised to see them ranking 2nd. Don’t get me wrong they deserve it! It’s just that I initially thought their stage is not everyone’s cup of tea and may pale in comparison with the high intensity route that the others chose to take.
Again, we are off to a nice start! Let’s keep at it! Let’s make our way to the throne! Let’s claim that Kingdom and win this battle!
It's a good sign that they'll show us many new sides. But mnet has a fucked up system and the least popular group will be eliminated. I'm sure Pentagon won't but wtf. This system might limit the choices that groups will have regarding trying new concepts

Moqteyya yup Queendom was so uplifting in that the contestants had the leisure to develop friendship throughout the show because the competition is in the artistry and not popularity. They should have stuck with that. The new system would just bring in unhealthy fanwars I think. Mnet forever a 🐍!
