- Please help me decide if I should keep them! I talk about the hard heel, flat instep/angle of the shoe, and looseness of the ankle straps plus I compare them quickly to the block heel city sandals.

This is actually my FAV designer heels haha. I guess it’s cuz people do have different feet. 😂😂
Cherry Tung - The Frugal Designer Handbag Lover I know! So many people love it! I was disappointed to not love them as much as most.
Chicprofessor it’s all good! At least now you know what works and what doesn’t, and I’m sure you’ll be able to rehome it too ❤️
I don't think comfort is something we always find when we want to look beautiful so, I believe these pumps are only meant to be worn for certain times to elevate your entire look especially if they make you feel uncomfortable. I'm planning to order my 2nd pair in kitten heels. I have the 4" version now.
You are not the only one. I sold mine. I don’t like and I don’t feel very comfortable at all. I bought twice and I sold them all. For some reason I don’t feel Valentino shoes are not so comfy and the quality also not good as price is. I think you should return it.❤️
It is nice to know I am not alone! I think we wear the same size so maybe they're less comfortable for those of us with smaller feet.
Are ladies shoes with no strap at the back like sandals but with 'kitten heels' still Kitten Heel shoes??
This is how I’ve always felt about kitten heels! When you have your weight in your heels (as opposed to the balls of your feet) you need a certain amount of support, and a stiletto is not enough! I can wear a 7” heel, but cannot do a 1-2” kitten heel ever...besides it not being flattering
Yup! I agree! I thought these might be the exception but alas, no.
I own these in black suede and they are super uncomfortable also I’ve worn them twice and there’s already visible wear on them, which I think is crap for a “luxury” shoe. They are gorgeous but they hurt, hence why I’ve only worn them twice in a year.
Traci Nicole it's so interesting how many people find them uncomfortable and how many people say it's the most comfortable heel they own!
I do have some rock stud heels but I don’t have the kitten heel - I only have one ankle strap and the heel is higher so I think that helps with the “step” - I agree on that
Yeah, it is interesting how much of a difference it makes!
I have only worn mine once... I do relate to the stiff/hard heel. I use the Vivian Lou heel inserts. It helps to pad and distribute your weight and I find that they make all my heels (they even make a flats version) more comfortable in the heel.
Thank you! I've heard good things about those!
Great honest review Jessica and they do look gorgeous on you. However, for me comfort is the most important and if you feel they hurt your heels the moment you put them on then I don’t think you’ll reach for them. Perhaps you could try some silicon heel pads but if all else fails, I’d sell them. Unless you like keeping them just for display 😁 TFS and have a wonderful Sunday!
Thank you! I hope you had a wonderful weekend :)
I can wear mine and love mine because of the flatter arch and taut ankle straps when on. It could be that the loose straps are not holding / supporting your foot hence the discomfort. They are so pretty on the foot but if they don’t work then sell them for sure.
I think they weren't meant to be!
I have the 4 inch version which I love and find as some of my most comfortable heels. Don't own the kitten heels. I think block heels are more comfortable than any stiletto type shoe. I'd say return them if you find them hard to wear. Might be hard to place a heel pad that's undetectable since it's an open heeled shoe
I think so, too!
I love these shoes and actually thinking of getting a pair for myself, but still hesitant because of the price point. I think that if you have doubts, return the shoe. Not worth keeping it because of its design as you’re not going to reach for it often.
That's what I'm thinking!
I love mine!! I find them very comfortable, and I have no problem with the strap fit. Plus, they look beautiful on you. That said, however, I know what it's like to dread putting shoes on because you know they'll hurt, so if they don't work for you, you should probably let them go. A block heel is always more comfortable, anyway.
I agree! Thanks :)
I want to get these, but they look uncomfortable with the caged straps.
My kitten heels were very comfortable the first time I wore them. The higher heel rockstuds, not so much.
Interesting! Thanks for watching :)
I'm definitely still in the fence as to if they are a classic or not. Which is why I haven't searched very hard for a good deal. The wider toe box would make them great for me, but if they aren't comfortable for you, you probably won't get to a good cost per wear.
That is true! I am not sure how much I'll reach for them. I feel like they are still very popular but I certainly have heard a few people say they are out of fashion so it's a tough call!
Oh yeah I do like that shoe but that particular style looks too loose. Maybe look for the rock studs with only one ankle strap like the sandals VS 2 straps on the kitten heel.
Bea Goodwin I might! I also like the high heel version with studs along the edge (no straps) so we'll see if any of those work for me in the future.
Where do you buy second hand shoes?
shoppinggirl125 mostly on poshmark, therealreal, and Tradesy!
I think it's just a matter of preference. I love the kitten heel of my Rockstuds. I do have the higher heel in the dupes and they are not as comfortable. I don't like my weight to be on the ball of my foot. I have a narrow foot too, but the straps were ok for me. I do have to put them on the last hole. I love my Rockstuds. I think the block heel is going to be more comfortable, I think anyway. I think you already answered your own question. It doesn't appear that it's the right shoe for you and that's ok......xoxo
They're definitely perfect if you don't like the weight on the ball of your foot! You're right! I did decide to sell them :)
Your not alone I have the same issue with my sling backs. Its become my least used shoes.
So interesting! Did you find the heel to be hard in the slingbacks?
They are beautiful, but I would sell them especially since you love the sandal version better. ❤️
Thank you! I do definitely love the sandal version more but they are pretty!
I love my pair. I find them to be very comfortable, but I have what I like to call duck feet (small and wide - 34.5C or 35B). These shoes accommodate that. I also am someone who prefers a lower heel height (3 inches is my max these days). I think if you don’t love them, you should sell them. I don’t think it is worth trying to make it work. But that is just my 2 cents.
Stacmn X that's smart thinking and I'm leaning that way. I can see how they'd be great for a wide foot.
I was wondering how were they , I was... doing a shoe haul today as well. Smooches ❣️
Simply Deborah thanks for watching! I will check out your haul 😃
I think they look super cute on you but if you are hesitant I would consider returning. I have the 4 inch heels in the poudre and love them. I am not much of a kitten heel person but I really think they look nice on your feet❤️
Christine M thanks so much! I do like them but I'm definitely unsure!
I just got mine and I hate them. They are absolutely beautiful but so uncomfortable. They are going back :(
If you are ok with the amount of money you spent on them, I would keep them because they really are beautiful, even if they are not super comfortable. I have been obsessing about the rockstuds in general, but just can't see spending a fortune on shoes (unlike a handbag) that come in contact with the ground and, by definition, get dirty/wear out, but I know I am in the minority on that. I don't think I would enjoy wearing them because I would constantly be thinking about that instead of appreciating how gorgeous they truly are.
I can totally understand that mindset! I do love luxury shoes, though :)
I love the kitten heal Valentino. I have the same pair and they are bearable in terms of comfort. I only wear them for special occasions. I would keep them :) I am selling my Valentino flats though. So sorry they were uncomfortable for you!
If they don‘t fit properly and you also find Thema to be uncomfortable, I would let them go! In my opinion they are overhyped and there are soooo many cheaper versions of them around that honestly I would not pay that much money for.. I like the sandals better (not from My own experience but from what I saw); the heel is much nicer on the sandals in my opinion and if you already love this version I would rather consider getting a second pair of the sandals! Also I don‘t belive in „Must-haves“ if they don’t work for you.. I once had a YSL tote which I still think is gorgeous, but I did sell it in the end, because it just wasn‘t really working for me and I never reached for it..
PS, Sorry for the spelling erors, my iPad keeps trying correcting every word I write to German... :D haha
Thank you! I agree "must haves" don't usually get to me but I do like these! I am not a fan of dupes so I wouldn't buy a cheaper version but I'll feel good about my choice if I choose not to keep them. I do love the sandals!
This is a conundrum. They are so cool the moment I saw them when they first came out I thought they were the coolest shoes but no I don’t own a pair because I can’t wear shoes like that for any length of time even a three hour party they be killing me. I have a whole bunch of heels that I love looking at and never wear because they hurt too much. I use them as display
Yes, they certainly are beautiful and I do wear heels to work so they would get some wear but I;m not sure how much in the long run!
Oh, that's too bad. Beautiful shoes.
The StyleSynonym it is too bad because I do love them! But I'm not sure if they're worth keeping 🤷♀️
I would return them. If they are not comfortable you will probably not wear them much. If I spent a lot I would want them to be comfortable.
Sherry Simon I agree! I'm leaning that way.
Sell them! You can find luxurious shoes without breaking the bank. My YSL tribute low heel shoes are comfortable and iconic.
byblos the tribs are great!
I have only ever tried on the kitten heel and the higher heels and I find the higher heels to be more comfortable. Not sure why but kitten heels and I never agree
That's interesting! I had always heard the higher ones weren't comfortable but a few people have said they prefer them!
I just think that they are so bated and not worth the money $$$❤️🤓💋👠
Craig Siebler I know some people feel that way but others love them! I'm not sure if they'll be considered classics or just trendy!
I will never buy shoes used. Someone broke them in to their feet. Also feet excrete stuff and all are different.
I don’t have a problem with used shoes at all but to each their own 😀
Please don't keep them 🙁
I didn't!
