    Bless you, you’ve explained it so simply that I am at last able to follow. I’ve sewn & resewn a placket so many times the fabric is starting to disintegrate. Thank you sooooo much love 💕

    Bruh, why can't every youtube video be like this? You got straight to the point, and your instuctions were so clear and easy to follow. Your method for sewing this kind of placket is the best way, I just sewed two after watching your video and they turned out great.

    Excellent clear and precise. The only video where we are told which sides of the fabrics to face before stitching. Thanks

    Thank you so much!! Thankfully I looked at your instructions first and was able to easily make a placket and complete my shirt. I got loads of compliments!
    I then partially looked at a few others, all were confusing and I immediately stopped. Again thank you again. Because of you I've made 2 woven shirts and have another on my table to cut out.

    thank you! so simple and concise...easy to follow and execute. BTW I don't know why I find the sound of your machine so fascinatingly soothing. It has some sort of cadence to it....what brand is it?

    • @forgetmenotpatterns
      @forgetmenotpatterns  3 года назад +1

      Thanks, I'm glad you found it helpful! The brand of the machine is Typical. It's an industrial machine so the motor will have a bit more power than a domestic...That might be why it sounds more soothing :)

    Can you top stitch the side of the placket that will sit on top to help it lay flat? Or is there a reason you shouldn't?

    Thank you for the tutorial...may I ask a question? I'm a beginner...:)...why are you notch matching exactly the sleeve and binding edges?...from the first stitch it seems you are moving the sleeve away from the binding raw edges as you approach the center...I've tried this but for some reason I end up with several pleats at the center point...thanks!
