Can confirm. I did this level for the first time this morning (before this video unfortunately) without idi, green shell ,or rich cat. Though I had the diabolosa attack combo, jagando, and yukimura, so I’m not sure if others could really replicate that
Kai literally carry’s on most of heavenly and infernal tower, her immune to knock back destroyed those reds and her health is similar to green shells at level 50 and 5-6x more against floating
Very nice strat, I think I'm gonna actually use this for clearing 39 from now on. After a bit of testing, you can replace the shell if you don't have it with a high leveled talented riceball (to sort of act like shell in stalling with KB immune) or just more LD damage with something like fiend/house (to juggle energ easier, keep spawning mohawks though). If abaha lives during the intial rush you pretty much kill mina before the next energ comes, if not these options work as pretty good safeties just like shell does (though shell is potentially the most consistent?).

perfect, I also kinda do that with hard stages (like with infernal 40 I realised that I could use lucifer to kill the miz devils and it kinda worked)(and with the same stage I realised that research rock and jiangshi also kinda work)@@LucasIVYT but it's still hilarious that Icat of all things works on this stage
I don’t think you even need green shell for this, you can stack courier with the blind spot and kill the second Red EnerG. I think with the extra slot with not bringing green shell, you could use a small defence up combo like Apples and Oranges, tho if you have above 200K base HP u can spend the slot on another rusher to take out mina

You can use the second window from your base as a visual cue of when to spawn Mmohawk to get Puffington close to your base
