June 2004 was the end of an era for both Nick and Cartoon Network. Rugrats and Hey Arnold quietly aired their final episodes that month. Cartoon Network retired their old logo and introduce their City era that month as well.

This was actually on June 27, 2004. The Nick News episode that was advertised in one of the commercial breaks was airing that day.

    8:14-8:59 What it should’ve been:
Announcer: Something really bad is happening to Arnold’s neighborhood.
Arnold: Mr. Green, what’s going on?
Mr. Green: It’s Scheck. He wants to buy up the whole neighborhood so he can knock it down and put up a fancy mall.
Helga: Oh, Arnold, what if the neighborhood is torn down and you have to move away and we’re separated and we never see each other again?!
Announcer: And there’s only one football-headed kid who can stop it.
Arnold: We won’t let them tear down our neighborhood!
Announcer: But can Arnold really save the day?
    Arnold: Let’s roll.
Announcer: And will Helga finally tell Arnold how she really feels?
Helga: What else are you supposed to do when someone you love is in trouble?!
    Arnold: Love?
Announcer: Find out in Hey Arnold: The Movie, next Friday at 8:00/7c playing on Nickelodeon
