8/0 and 11/0 are the sizes of the beads. If you looked online or in a store all beads will have a size like this on them. The bigger the number before the slash the smaller the bead. I got these from local bead store but you can get everything from amazon thank you so much dear 💗
Extra threads going through the clasp ends would strengthen.
Actually a thread guard on the ends makes it even stronger & will make a nice polished finish
