- Best Seat in the House! I must admit - its WORTH IT! First row .... you have to be okay with seeing the wrinkles on Belle's Face... or being hit by the Beasts' SPIT (yes, he spits quite a few times)........ DODGE IT.. cuz you're too close lol!!!

I saw this last night in memphis I think with the same cast. It was amazing!! I wasnt quite as close as this but i was still very near the front and dead center of the orchestra section. Well worth it

This doesnt look like Broadway, I think its the tour. The Broadway production closed in 2007.
It was on Broadway this season. The cast goes on tour afterwards is all. I just saw it in Playhouse Square.

Angel Lewis In reality, the current tour of Beauty and the Beast, which is produced by Networks, is non-Equity. This is according to AEA's (the theatre union representing Actors and Stage Managers) website. This doesn't mean these actors are not good. It just means that none of them have been on Broadway. I hope this clears things up

I saw this cast perform in Chicago, and I was so impressed. I've been to so many shows and this one just made the others look like childs play. Belle was SOOOOO amazing. And the sets are in a league of there own. I was in the last row haha, so I can only imagine how great the first was!
I just love the pop up ook look of the show I wish I could see it but I doubt it will come near me anytime soon

This show brings so much joy to me. Oh my gosh I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. I love the theatre so much. Hopefully one day I can be doing that onstage doing the thing I love every day.
I just saw this on Sunday It was amazing
it ran for 13 years, unless disney wants to do a special limited engagement for one reason or another, your looking at a good 10 years from now before a new revival happens. and when it does if they want it to be successful they cant just do the movie again it has to be fresh and a little more realistic, if they just do what they did here it'll run for a year and a half and close cuz there is nothing new about this, this formula works for a tour cuz its never in 1 place for very long...
The tour of this show had scalled down on the costumes, I saw the original broadway show in London and it was far bigger and the costumes were stunning, Belle's Gold dress was better than the tour version. I just wish they would do professionaly made dvd of the shows to buy, or you can is the song cd.

same:) Its coming back to the theater I orginally saw it in but I'm almost scared to relive such a precious childhood memory. It's such a huge part of my childhood and inspiration. Also, Liz (Belle) is practically my idol and it might be strange for me to see somebody else in the role. But we'll see:) :) :)

i gotta say I was extremely impressed by the man who played gaston. I have this image of someone playing gaston, and he definitley was that exact image.
Lol I love the part where Gaston accidentally kisses Lefou XD. We are doing this play at my school and we watched this as a reference to our dance for 'Belle'.

im going on sunday at njpac! its been over 15 years since i have seen it and i cant wait. vie heard great reviews about this production and i hope ill love it even more. its been a very long time since i have seen a good professional production of it. my high school did it in 2008 and it was great 4 a hs drama club but i know it wont compare to what this is!
She sounds so different in every other video. I think she sounds good here but she sounds even better in the other vids:)

Broadway is only in new york in front of an audience large enough to be considered "a broadway" sized one. You saw the tour.
I didnt film anymore... cuz i was asked not to lol... damn .. i was very upset.. cuz let me tell you.... that song is NOTHING compared to how AWESOME the rest of the show was - it was WORTH IT... and i was sitting in the first row..... i WISH i could have filmed... ESPECIALLY when the beast comes out THAT WAS AMAZING!
Wow this show looks like it was amazing. I'm playing Babette in my high school's rendition of Beauty and the Beast in a couple months; of course it won't be nearly up to par with this, but our last production was pretty good so we expect big things! Lol
FYI This isn't broadway, this is the national tour. This show was in the Arscht Center in Miami, FL
I see that all Broadway touring shows are no longer using tracks. They are having the ensemble move the sets around.

I just saw this version last weekend! Different cast members I am certain, but it was wonderfully done. I am not fond that they cut out 'No Matter What', but it was still wonderful!
Yeah, I'm doing Beauty & The Beast in my school as Lumiere! "No Matter What" is actually considered a song that can be left out and replaced by a scene, so it's possible that they did so because the actor playing Maurice wasn't comfortable in some way. Still, awesome production! :)

@brightlites92 I went and saw it yesterday, and it was amazing! And to answer your question, they do have a live orchestra it's kinda small but the show is amazing! I wish I could see it again! You are going to love it!

i just saw the show with my mom today it was great. the scene when belle shows everyone the beast and gaston tells belle her choice he kissed her and she slapped him sorry for the spoiler to those who haven't seen the play.
Is this really Broadway? It has all the amazing voices, but it also has the aspects of a community production.

The Originale Broadway Production set and costumes and design were so much better than this productions and from what i hear they cut songs from the original score like No Matter What between belle and her father, why would you cut an important song like that. I wished they would bring back the original score and the original look of the show not a revised know off.

it's the american tour version, they changed the costumes for the objects for some reason, though I prefer the original costumes bettee
