    CORRECTION: When I mention the Glock 43 and its larger magazine capacity throughout the video, I mean the Glock 43X. That's what I get for doing a terrible job keeping track of Glock's random sub compact pistols!

    Bought one of these for my gf 2 years ago. When I got it in and held it I wanted to keep it for myself. This last christmas I bought one for my mother. I love the pistol, it feels nice in the hand, I love the way it handles when you fire it.

    Apparently Walther filed for a patent for an 'increased capacity magazine'. I've been begging Walther for years to figure out how to get a few more rounds into this gun and to improve the trigger but I'm guessing they won't do anything further with this Umarex design. The rumor is that they are going to release an increased capacity PPS M3, or M2+. It's too bad, because the ergonomics on this gun are possibly the best I've felt at that size.

    • @booliganshootingsports

      Do you have the original or the M2? The original was a joke requiring a tool to disassemble. The M2 just requires practice, but is still definitely more involved than other pistols like Glocks.

    Walther should update this platform with the PDP stippling and trigger mechanism. Although my P99 AS trigger has the shortest reset of the P99, PPQ, and PDP - the PDP is current production and might be able to be adapted to a CCP M3 frame redesign

    • @booliganshootingsports
      @booliganshootingsports 2 года назад +3

      I think it would make for a great suppressed platform. The non-tilting barrel would eliminate the need for a Nielsen device, however, the increased backpressure might do funky stuff with the gas delayed blowback system. It would be fun to experiment with either way.

Yeah trigger could be better but most CCP M1 shooters say they dont notice the squish when shooting it. (its more like grinding) But I have noticed it has wore over time and rounds and is even less now. Get it drop test fixed for free from Walther.

    • @booliganshootingsports
      @booliganshootingsports 2 года назад +3

      Probably never, lol. Since this uses a gas piston setup below the chamber, it does tend to generate more heat within the frame compared to something like a Glock. Now, it's not uncomfortable unless you're putting a LOT of rounds through it in a short timeframe, but I doubt that our low temperature tolerant printed materials would fare terribly well.
