Now that's a winch. Superb choice. That should be capable of pulling about anything, including itself, out of about any predicament. As long as you can find a winch point that doesn't collapse like a deck of cards in a wind storm. LOL. You could recreate that in your snow runner movie part 3. Just have it keep pulling twigs out of the ground over and over. hehehehehe. The weathering is looking spot on. Seeing the bigger area compared the clean has the blue growing on me more and more. I may even be saying to using a color like that on my project Jeep. Only as a accent color. LOL. Will see.
Cheers Steve. Well funnily enough we shot snow runner part 3 last weekend. The winch got a work out and performed perfectly. Andrew also loved the weathering as it is the first time he had seen it in the flesh. I love the blue colour 🥰
The rope has to be so long so it can pull things onto the BC8 trailer. That even has an arm that supports the rope. However, I am running out of channels on my 6 channel GT5 radio, so no winch for me unfortunately. Nice video. Do you really hose it off when it’s muddy? I didn’t expect the electronics to be that water resistant.
Good point, I did not think about the massive trailer. Yes, I hose it off. I make sure the doors are closed and I have the hose on sprinkle and dont get too close. I also cover important bits in GT85 afterwards to disperse some of the water. It works fine as long as you are careful.
Nice weathering sneak peak. You guys have inspired me to make a video with my newly finished King kong CA30, you can check it out if you'd like. I would love yours and andrews opinions/constructive criticism on the build or the video if you end up watching it!
Oh, how good does it look all weathered up like that... 😍
Thank you. It has taken some time to work up to having the confidence. It is the AK paints as well. Find the right colour and they are so easy to use.
That's a great car!👍👍
That's a great video!!!

Cheers. Ha ha yes. I got that cab cheap. £15 from banggood. It will be used for weathering practice and cargo 👍
Awesome!!! Question. What type of ABS cement can I use for the mammoth build?
