I tried LuxExpress during my trip between the capitals of the Baltic countries and I loved it! And the coffee machine is a perfect complement for a long trip. 😁

The construction by the Riga bus station is for Rail Baltica, a railroad project connecting the Baltic capitals and also having a spur connect to the Riga Airport.

These coaches are a better version of what can be found on National Express/Eurolines in the U.K. and Bus Éireann/Transport for Ireland in the Republic of Ireland, including on Expressway routes

I'm heading to the Baltics next year for family vacation and will be taking this exact route. Stopping in Riga for a few days and then getting back on to see Vilnius. Thank you for the simplistic review without a bunch of stupid, incessant babbling or irrelevant talking. I've subscribed!

Also had a comfortable trip in the Baltics back in 2017. Not all departures offer this comfort class so I had to travel in the regular one and did it in two seperate trips with a stop in Riga for a few days there.

I enjoyed this video. Thanks! I am wondering about the differences between bus and train travel between Tallinn and Vilnius. Is there a direct train between the two cities, or is a connection required? How much time is required for the train, compared to the 9 hours for the bus? What is the cost, compared to the 34€/39€ for second/first class? Which do you prefer? Why? Watching in France. Merci d'avance.

@@timectrl It sounds like train travel between the Baltic states needs a lot of improvement to achieve the intercountry train travel available in western Europe.

Hi! Yeah, @timectrl is correct, unfortunately there is no connection between Tallinn and Vilnius, so can't really compare bus and train. There is a Rail Baltica project that should connect Tallinn and Vilnius with a high-speed railway, but it's a long term project...So, for the time being, the bus is the most convenient option.

@@TheMaartianWell there is the Rail Baltica project being built, but for the moment there isn't really much point in investing into creating a direct rail route for the short term.
The way the rail system is built, the train would basically have to zigzag it's way from Tallinn to Vilnius, which means it would take far longer than the bus journey would.
