This podcast is so weird, because on one hand I’m like “holy hell, these characters make my heart ache. I genuinely can’t believe this is a dnd podcast” and then Ron and Beth* are making an ad for a pool floaty and I’m like “oh, right”
Possible Spoilers!! The next episode is gonna have all three Stamplers/Marlowe and I'm not emotionally ready for that. Same thing with Glenn, Nicholas, and Taylor.
I just wanna leave this here I adore this podcast Over the last two ish months, I’ve listened to the entire podcast (including the extra episodes) three times, and gotten five people into this podcast. I say this because I’ve seen SO many people whining about the story, and I just kinda wanna get my two cents in This podcast is about four TEENS trying to save the world. I can’t even count the amount of comments going “why did Anthony let this happen? It makes no sense” or “ong why is there so much drama?” YALL. These are literal CHILDREN trying to save the world! Do y’all not remember how hard it was to be a teen??? Of course they’re dramatic. Of course they’re sensitive and irrational, they’re god damn kids! With everything happening, it’s a miracle they aren’t constantly pulling out their weapons and pointing at eachother. This show has a wide variety of people going through trauma, and reacting to said trauma in the ways they know how.
I wholeheartedly agree, especially with Scary. For part of the series, she was being manipulated by Willy. I honestly feel like Scary is one of the most complex characters in the podcast.
@@PloverBones Beth’s performance of Scary is absolutely perfect. People try to lash out at those who love them because they want to PROVE that they’re unlovable, especially teens/young adults. Scary is the epitome of “hurt people hurt people”. Also, did everyone forget Scary was being groomed by Willy? This teen girl was being groomed by not only an older man, but also someone who knows her family EXTREMELY well. Of course she was hurting her friends, she was literally being GROOMED into it! “God, why is scary so powerful? Anthony is playing favourites” or maybe that’s just what grooming is like for the victim. You feel like you’re on cloud nine, an adult is giving you attention and freedom, and you feel *important*. But it’s all conditional. One wrong move and BOOM, it’s all taken away. “The boys should have just left her” and then what. She would have been completely isolated from everyone except the big bad. The guys (Normal, Linc, and Taylor) did the absolute best thing they could have, which is fighting to be her friend. Scary (just like every kid in her situation) wants to be loved and cared for. They proved that despite her actions, despite her faults, she still deserved to be looked after and valued. That’s absolutely amazing storytelling.
Same here. I found this about a month ago from a sketch on tiktok about the bean incident. I couldn't stop and binged everything😅. Any idea what the upload schedule is?
With Freddie mentioning being inspired by ninjas, I'm surprised he didn't go Shadow Monk. Taylor wouldn't even need to change stats and using his kai to attack people is quintessential weebness.
On the one hand I think Taylor would make more sense as an Artificer like Freddie mentioned before. On the other hand that class is definitely waaaayyy too complicated for anyone on this podcast to handle.
Bro norm would of wiped the floor with taylor. Idk how familiar you folks are with pvp but cleric straight up beats most classes and rouges suck ass for that type of thing. Like norm would of had to of roled horribly the entire hypothetically combat encounter while taylor was rolling nothing but 20's for it to even be close.
Scary apologizing to Tony is the most “scared teen genuinely trying to apologize to someone” I’ve ever seen. Holy hell. Congrats Beth!

“My future life partner!” Normal, I’m gonna cry oh my god. You poor baby. You’re so… ouch.
How is nobody talking about how Freddie Wong finally changed his class like HELL YEAH I've been waiting so long!
I'm surprised he didn't go Shadow Monk.
@@dragoninthewest1Exactly. He missed an opportunity there.

@@goblinguy3103You just put my exact thoughts into words
I'm worried for Ron now cause he's broken both heaven and hell rules so where would he even go if he died!?
Finally caught up. Can't believe I have to wait for the next episode. It's like when I got caught up on One Piece

That’s how I found them too! From the TikTok sketch. Been hooked ever since! Can’t wait for the next episode!
@@marcellus20201I don't think there's a schedule for when they're released on yt but on the website they come out every 2 weeks on Tuesday
The intro is peak. Love the ad lol
"And our friend from school" excuse me that's also your spouse
Have they ever done a reveal for how they get this overlay to work, with lighting up each character speaking?
The different mics have their own audio tracks that get used in the visuals.
6 minute mile is still fast in my book!!
How am i supposed to go on now that im caught up😢
I know they’re meant to be biblically accurate angels, but all I can see is the guy who works at the transit center in Rock Bottom
