HD looks so realistic, and gives off an atmospheric effect which I love to see everywhere I go. When I go to the Wilderness with it on, I see the thunderstorms, the dark and chaotic environment, and the fog. When I go to some place like Varrock, I see a peaceful environment, I see the luscious grass and trees, and a cloudy sky with no storm in sight. The big change in environment depending on where you are at is just magnificent. This to me, is what Old School RuneScape was always meant to be.

I put a pause on it after episode 7. I will be resuming it June 1st. Those videos take around 50-80 hours to do compared to my normal content so it was more of a time management / mandatory upload dates problem but I expect to be all caught up by June 1st. If you're planning to use Elysian Spirit Shield, just wear your Justiciar Armour Set and Protect from Magic all the way...Kril will never Drain your prayer and Balfrug will never deal dmg...so you're pretty much super tanky vs Zakryl and Karlak and damage reduce up to 40% with Elysian vs Kril so his normal dmg is 49 becomes only 29 with this setup...unless u use Arceus Warding, you further reduce the damage to 25 for kril max hit...so yeah.
I solo with this setup but usually use DFS for more dmg for my AL/Fang
i would do zammy more but i hate zammys special, as own justi but lack ely though did recently get spectral which im not sure is good for tanking at zammy.
@@ravenspurplebeats5412 you only wear spectral if you're planning to protect from Melee while wearing High Magic defense bonus gear like Karil or Masori...Bring out Dragonfire Shield and give it a try again. it'll make a big difference

gpu plugin really looks better yes, i sometimes use 117 had but it can be quite a bit too bright sometimes. GPU keeps the OG feel but just smoother edges. Also: enable animation smoothening! its amazing
IDC about either version, play with what makes the game enjoyable for you. I play on GPU but HD just looks nicer.
That story of your first trip is so aligned with the principles of zammy too. Honestly cannon
Might want to learn some of the range methods… either altar - door or the 5-0 method. I’ve always done 5-0 method and get 30+ kills per trip using 3 divine bastion pots, 4 way mage switch, 2 stams, 1 sanfew (only if you mess up) blowpipe and the rest super restores
HD plug-in has a way to disable atmosphere lighting. You can turn that off and keep all other benefits of HD plugin. Also has brightness level you can play with. Rest is up to you boss
5:0 at Kril is super easy with shadow, you take no damage from Kril and just heal up on the minions at the end. I do anywhere from 40-65+ kill trips depending on super restore drops
I remember back when gwd came out and we were camping Bandos with lootshare on. My friend just came in and was watching me and the others members on the team started teleporting out and it was just me and 2 others who finished the kill and getting a bandos hilt, the share was 6m at the time, not much but back then it was massive

if you don't have a shadow for the 5:0 method. Another cheaper but still way more efficient setup than melee is bowfa+crystal. there is a 6:0 altar+door method and 8:0 cannon base method

Good method as it is but you could consider using demonic protection on the arceuus spell book. You can't barrage with that though so it's all on blood fury and maybe guthans.
I used to really hate zamorak as well because of its special attack, but after learning the 5:0 method it has become such a chill boss. Highly recommend.

As someone who played RuneScape for years back in 04-07 and took a solid 15 year break I prefer the HD plugin. It helped me get back into the game as someone who played much higher graphics MMOs in between. However, I do understand people that have been playing since osrs launch and prefer the GPU plugin as it is more “old school”. IMO play with whatever you prefer as the graphics are much less important at than the content you put out
Some good loot right there, hopefully I see some of that luck when I go back to zammy… got a master that’s sat in my bank for nearly 2 years because I can’t finish it but refuse to drop it

You can adjust your HD settings to change the atmospheric lighting so it wouldn't be as blue, and still be HD. I also noticed your anti-ailising is low because your HD models look quite sharp, if you up this to a higher setting your graphics will look a lot smoother!
I had to do 800 kills here on my ironman for a spear drop. It was the most miserable experience in osrs for me. Did it with an arclight and barrows armour on task only. I despise this boss so much because of that experience. I had a pet and 2 staff of the dead drops before the spear.
Went nearly 300 before I got my 1st spear, or any drop at all on my ironman >_>
During these videos can we get different methods? Like bowfa, tbow, magic. Kills/hr would go up

im not sure about this but i think the quality of the image goes down if u have the game window on the smalest size, atleast it did that for me when i streamed the game on discord. but idk if that is the same issue tho

9:0 zammy with bowfa is mega chill and easy and you will get 20+ kill trips
I prefer HD because it is easier on my eyes.
I play in gpu tho. Just turn my in game brightness settings to minimum in white background content

Whatever makes you enjoy the grind more. Imo old graphics aren't even the same since so many iconic areas have changed and new textures look more bland. I think the "weird" comments were because you had shadows off. Also try 117 without ground blending and minimal settings like low AA or off it's a good mix, or even turn on "flat shading" for a super blocky look
When opening clues, drop all masters on the ground, they last an hour there now :)
Oh also, for graphics, I personally play in just GPU, so that is natural to me. But it doesn't matter too much to me.

i personally enjoy 117, some areas are a bit overly saturated i turn my brightness in 117 plugin down for that, some underground areas really need the black skybox as default as well.
as for what you use in the videos mate please just use what you personally like most / what makes the game most enjoyable for you, I really don't mind looking at either version of osrs :)

Might want to consider selling the Elysian to fund a tbow or shadow both are considerably more useful than an Elysian
He could also just buy some other upgrades instead with that gp. Tumeken's Shadow is far more useful than a Twisted Bow because of the fact that it only gets a massive increase in damage when fighting high magic level monsters. With Tumeken's Shadow, your max hit gets increased across the board by x3 against all monsters, and triples the equipment bonuses as well (x4 in Tombs of Amascut, and quadruples bonuses instead). So if he is to get any mega weapon at all, definitely the shadow over either of them, then probably the scythe, then tbow. For now though, I think it would be wise for him to get any upgrades he doesn't have first, such as the Zaryte Crossbow.

How do you stack ecumenical keys? I feel like it takes me forever to get them from that dungeon, and I can only have like 3 at a time

@@Twertley depending on how many kills in a trip you can manage, getting zaros killcount and using nex to bank is a lot faster then getting ecu keys
@@Twertley just use blow pipe on the imps and they should drop quickly. Well it’s usually quick. I’ve def had some dry streaks

Yeah, but if bringing blood barrage to heal off the minions as well, it takes up extra bank space, which isn't worth the sacrifice. That's why it's either one or the other.
