Theres scenes here from the movies and also arcs that were remastered/reanimated into modern animation but the OG animation and OG one piece is still better for experience excluding the animation. As we know One Piece started in 1999 so the animation in the original anime is understandable but obvs as time goes gradually the anime starts to modernise within the original anime and now the current animation of the latest episodes is insane.
This is the highest selling Manga by far and 2nd best selling comic in the world for a reason. This show is life changing, pure enjoyment. I was a massive Naruto fan, who though a show like One Piece can never top Naruto without even watching it. However, 3 months ago, I decided to fuck it and give it a try at least. And now, after 3 months since starting it, not even fully caught up yet, I can gladly say it has indeed topped Naruto and now my favourite anime of all time!😁😁😁

@Rightfully Kyle did you know that almost every single pirate in one piece is based off of real life pirates. I can't give any examples as that would spoil characters that you haven't seen yet, but its true.

Actually, some of the footage was from movies and fillers. I have actually watched the fillers and recognized some of said footage from their. Only 10 percent of the entire show is filler and it has almost as many movies as DBZ.

@@NICO.DCRUZE naah bro most of them from the actual story not from any filler and 15 to 20% is from movie and may be 5% filler but 70 to 80% is in the actual anime.
Technically 10% is filler, but later episodes especially start to drag out scenes a lot and adapts less than a chapter per episode. I'd rather have complete filler episodes that are easier to skip.
Even with that though One Piece is still amazing, it could just be even more amazing if they trimmed all the dragged out stuff.
@@wolfandspice If I had to watch one filler, it would be G8. I watch all the fillers, but that one is so good, that people swear on the alter of Usopp that G8 is good enough to be canon and also wonder why they fucked up Long Ring Long Land with filler content.

I started to watch one piece last year in May, so I started May 1st. I binged from episode 1 to 979 in 7 weeks and then became a weekly watcher. It was totally worth it lol. 😂It is my number 1 most fav series, not just anime but just the best series EVER.
Can't lie the animation now is movie level and I love One piece of course it's my number 1 now

And if comparing to like ep 1-100 of one piece... yes it has been like 20+ years haha. We are out of the square box screen and into the widescreen era, and now into the 720p/1080p/4K/8K era.
I mean. It's been 20+ years, our technologies advanced, artstyles changes, they improve, not just for One Piece but for literally anything else.
It's like comparing Yu Yu hakusho and Naruto shippuden, one's older than the other lol. The newer one won't look the same as the old one haha.

Honestly, it's hard to make a bad One Piece filler. As long as they don't interfere with the actual story and characters, they will just add the extra adventure feeling.

Do keep in mind, a lot of these clips are from the movies, which are MOSTLY non-canon.
Some clips are also from "page-breaks", or the little clips that they show before an ad break.

You've like only opened the cover of the book of the greatness which is one piece. You aren't even done with prologue until like episode 60 or so. Buckle up. Many adventures and surprises await. Buildup and Payoff: The Series. This will become your favorite series for sure.
One thing new viewers to one piece need to realize is the series has been going on for so long; at the start the graphics weren't great, but that changes and improves later on. It's a fantastic series I'd recommend anyone to watch. I tried it 4x before i actually fell in love, and have stayed up-to-date since.

I loved you reactions. Especially to the sky islands and the underwater kingdom. There are different tribes living in the sky and mermaids and fishermen underwater. Bets anime of all time for me. You won’t watching it and it’s the perfect time to catch up so you don’t get spoiled on the major events that will be taking place going forward.
Once you get like 100 150 it will catch you so bad that you will reach 1000 as fast as you can... this video is awesome and what is shocking you brings memories back and tears to my eyes since I'm up to date and can only watch 1 episode every week for the last 9 years. One piece is the goat without question. (A little fun fact, writer/drawer mangaka Oda Eichiro draws every episode and never uses old drawings, he draws new even for flashbacks. Because he respects the job he does and rejects copy paste old scenes)
15:36 sorry to say but an anime with 1000+ episodes is going to have fillers. Luckily, unlike other anime, for example naruto, has 750+ episodes but 250+ of that are filler. One piece with ofc 1000+ episodes only has 90 filler!! btw as a heads up to save some time, your choice to do this, its not needed but its helpful, is to skip the foxy pirate arc. its not a good arc and its all filler. i think its around episode 215, so itll take some time to get there for you since you're on episode 72, but as a heads up to save you the time and trouble.

There are some fillers in one piece but not as much as in naruto. Therefore the pacing of an episode is a little bit slower from the 500s onward, so that the anime don't catch up that fast to the manga
As a guy who watch one piece from ep 1 till the latest ep for 5x and also read the manga till last chapter, i can assure you all the clip from this video is from One piece. Either its a Movie,filler, flashback or the main story !

If you could reach the latest ep or the latest chapter of the series, you would absolutely regret missing a tiny bit of detail or even forget them throughout the series. In fact, some are already rebinged watching in preparation of the greatest arc.

No fillers technically isn't correct :) "warship island arc" is a filler arc and the Sennenryu (Millennium Dragon) is also not canon.
When you realise that most of the show is fighting and still has this much World building 😶

Probably not gonna be ass because Oda is actively participating as the series is being made. I've been following the Live Action for quite some time now and not gonna lie, it has shown promise.
That One Piece has no fillers is not entirely true, One Piece has a few filler episodes that work as preparation for one of the many films, and One Piece also has a lot of filler scenes that stretch the plot a bit unnecessarily, but that only becomes apparent in later arcs , but it's still worth staying tuned because it's just a brilliant series with a very good world building as you could see very well in the video

Upgrade? The original was fine. Amazingly drawn. So much modern anime relies on computers to even make it look decent.
The first mini-filler arc is a little boring but not bad as a story is at the end of the East Blue Saga, the others filler until episode 500ish are enjoyable (at least for me as a fan), after that the filler writer change and well, is just not worth it after that point but they are short, a few episodes between sagas or arcs most of the time just to give space so it doesn't catch up with the source material, the manga.
