Why there is play in lm8uu based linear rail , I measure the diameter of different roads all diameter is less than 8mm it's around 7.6 to 7.8 mm is it common tolorance or perfect 8mm rods are also available??
With your Ball bearings and mounts, would you have any mounts that can be fitted to the floor and ceiling, with the rod being exposed out of the ceiling for a small DC Generator, plus a outer shell to go over the rod with a plate for a base to be mounted for a plate??
Thanks, just getting into linear systems and was wondering how the heck you connect a load to those types of bearing. You showed me. Excellent ! Tell that j.d.p guy not to be so much of a snob. Your wardrobe is ideal for what you do. No chance of a malfunction !
So how did you get the 8MM linear bearing to fit in the channel which comes with 1/2 inch diameter hole? The bearings I purchased from you have a .590 OD. Did you drill an 8MM hole, or do you have some special channel that is not advertised?
Hi, how would using 2 bearings per shaft improve the precision? Is it for eliminating / reducing backlash or are there other reasons for this design choice? 1:25
Looked thru your site and did not see any ACME threaded rods types? Are you going to have some soon? Then you'll have everything thing for a CNC machine.(?)

How do I find adaptor sleeve for such a small bearing SKF starts from 17mm or how would you attach center to shaft.
came hear to learn about linear bearings got distracted by the perfect cnc cut helmet you are wearing.

Oops. I meant did you drill a 19/32" hole so the linear bearing would fit in the channel.
How much backlash between shaft & linear ball bearing

it will reduce clamp problem and therefore stick too much to the rail. however, instead of using 4 linear bearings use 3 to not create overconstraint

James Burris Hi James - we will soon have ACME threaded rods! :)
What is linear bearing size?
Where u located?
