Poor Things was such a good watch at the cinema. But for this year, my favorite was Monster (2023), directed by Kore-eda Hirokazu. Went into this by knowingly have watched Shoplifters before and I really thouroghly enjoyed that one too.
Hands down The Killer. Huge sucker for David Fincher, Fassbender is great in it, also has one of the most edge-of-your-seat fight sequences I’ve ever seen in a movie. SO good. Very surprised people didn’t talk about that movie more. Also, The Smiths is all over soundtrack, like, c’mon. Fantastic.
i guess i like Natural Born Killers the most,i like the style in this movie,fully around madness,chaos,unorthodox,lonny move.And the movie shooting technique is quite intersting too,also i think the playboi carti mv(sky) has borrow some ideas from it.
definitely oppenheimer for me. seeing it in imax and feeling its immensity paired with the soundtrack just hit hard. love my geth cargos too. I'm probably too short to be wearing such things but love the feel and color of my grey pair so fuck it.
I still think the Our Legacy trompe l'oeil third cut denim looks better than this Acne. Junya also makes interesting trompe l'oeil jeans in recent years.

Poor Things was good but costume and scenografy kinda tanked. For me best movie was def May december. Todd Haynes reinterpreting Bergmans Persona was genius and Natalie Portman and Julianne Moores performances where excellent. 10/10

Probably either Nosferatu or Baby Shark's Big Movie. Very emotional & very moving, would recommend watching back to back.
