I just finished this install. A few things, I have an LG C1 OLED and the TV's stand is a little too low for this sound-bar. I had to put the soundbar on a bridge that sits over the TV. The proximity of the speakers on the armrest makes it so that I don't have to have the volume of the TV so loud, which is a great benefit if you're trying to watch attentively without disturbing others. I have 4 seats and 5 arms and put the unit together by myself. If you have trouble with this kind of work, then I don't know what to tell you but that you probably have 1 foot in the grave. As for laundering, I can't imagine having to launder the frame portion of these items often so I'm not so sure why someone insists that it is a burden to remove the covers. You will most likely be laundering the cushions and the pillows, which IMO is like washing your bedsheets. The product is good, but I don't know if I'd say it's $8000+ good (which is what I paid for the "L" shaped 3-deep seating with an extra 4th). I would expect to pay at most $4000 as that's about $1500 more than some of the theater style furniture that has automatic foot rests and headrests. I figure the surround sound is a bit nicer tech than the reclining features, but the reclining feature would be nice to have at this price point (I'm sure it would inhibit the portable design feature). I'd rate my setup as a 7 out of 10. I'd rate it 10/10 if it wasn't so expensive. Oh and my experience with FedEx was horrid. Was told that delivery was supposed to happen last Wednesday, then it was changed to Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I received partial shipment on Monday and then the remaining pieces just several hours ago. I don't mind the delays, but to cancel daily for 6 days was just too annoying.
Just a quick update, I have watched a few movies (Transformers Last Knight, Die Hard, Matrix) and love how immersive the sound is. It feels like you're literally right in the middle of the action. While the system might not shake like an earthquake, the experience is a little more heightened as the sounds are right there, flanking you on all sides. Even watching something as "quaint" as "Planet Earth II", the volcano scenes, and the sounds of nature help surround you in a Zen like feeling. To give you an idea, it makes me want to go out for a hike. I'll have more reviews after this weekend with the upcoming NFL playoff games, and a few movie nights under my belt.
Watched a weekend full of basketball, football, some Xbox/PS5 gaming, and a few classic movies (Snyder Justice League, the Fifth Element, Jurassic Park III) . Even at a volume of 53, it was enough for me to consider cranking it down a bit as I figured my neighbors weren't going to be happy with me. I kept the bass down at about 1/4th but it still thumped decently. I live in an "upscale" community (fancy word for apartment complex) so I wanted to be respectful of my neighbors. That said, the setup is still great, not overbearing although I felt that I could really crank it up if I wanted to. The sound is so great that I'm finding myself buying movies that I previously had no interest in (the Jurassic Park series) just for the sound. The fact that the speakers are right there next to you is what makes this sound better than other systems where the speakers are further away. The same was true with the sports and the gaming, you're enveloped in great sound.
Can there be a way to just hook up the left and right sides to a standard stereo receiver with ordinary speaker cables? Perhaps this could negate the need for either the subwoofer or that center speaker.
They should have a trade in/upgrade(discount) program on the side panels with speakers for people that have a Sactional already. Otherwise we will have extra side panels taking up space in the garage.
@@chandracolbert7814 I thought it was going to be a drop in speaker kit like the bottom sub speaker, but replacing all the side panels are not in my budget also. They really need to consider a trade in panel discount.
So stoked for this, I can't wait to hook up my sactionals with the new stealth tech pieces. My kids can't wait to watch Jurrasic Park and I am stoked for some Michael Bay action! Lovesac is awesome!
I just turned on HBO and the sound is great. I won't be able to watch anything too bass heavy at this time of the evening but this Friday I'll probably put on Snyder's Justice League or maybe No Time To Die. The phone app is a great tool for quick sound configurations. The sound from the armrest speakers is fantastic. I'll know more about the bass at a later time when I can test it thoroughly.
@@KnuteJPhotos Roger that. Oh and one thing that I need to add to my initial impressions is that FedEx is absolutely horrible. Told me that my delivery was due last week. I literally got the last pieces about 5 hours ago after constant delays.
i got the 10 speaker set up, put together yesterday, all in straight row, didn't see any layout for that system. took a bit but did it on limited amount of sleep. anyway, which connection will give the best sound, HDMI or optical? then if switch from one to the other, will it disconnect subwoofer sides and have to be repaired?
I’m having difficulty connecting my center console with my subwoofer. I’ve tried everything the Manual tells me and still nothing. Any troubleshooting tips?
Is there an option for a side that has a charging cable for people whose devices don’t have wireless charging? And maybe the option to get the charger without the sound system for a lower price?
Lovesac... can someone explain to me why the couch speakers don't ALWAYS work? During certain movies, commercials, couch speakers won't work only the center channel. Also, the phone app stopped letting me connect. So frustrating for the amount paid
Experiencing this!!! The couch system worked only after initial setup as well as after unplugging everything for like an hour. Tried factory resetting but that doesn't work either.
I wish 8 could add morse Subwoofers , They said I had to purchase another system and then have two center sound bars under my tv. Why cant it be like in the comercial where I can put three subs in my sectional
The tech used here is WiSA, you might be able to get more WiSA certified speakers or subs and tie it in. Needs research though, but typically as long as things are certified they should just get picked up. May or may not be that easy in practice.
I have a modest Sactional setup: 5 bases, 5 sides. I’m an healthy able-bodied man. Taking it apart to clean, vacuum in/under ots parts is an enourmous chore. it never takes less than ~1hr and I’m just pouring in sweat afterwards. I live in a predominantly cold environment. I like it anyway since its a pretty kid-proof couch i can wash but i cannot imagine having to also deal with the added challenge of fixed-length, proprietary speaker and power(brick) cable routing. Seems _neat_ but having already spent almost $6K USD on my LoveSac, this gonna be a _no_ from me dawg.
I just saw this at the mall and went in to talk to the guys about it. They said theyre giving 1,000$ off to any current sactional owners. I took advantage after checking out the demo. Its legit. That harman kardon system is the truth. Deff overpriced starting at 3,700. But with the 1000$ off, i think its worth it if youre in need of a luxury sound system. Better than any other sound systems in that 2,700$ price range
@@kennethguerrero6802 I took advantage of this deal as well! System is absolutely amazing. People have no idea how good it feels and sounds until they try it.
Maybe 6-8 feet? I wish it were a tad bit longer but I guess if really necessary, a heavy duty extension cord could be used. It should be longer than the extra long audio cables IMO as not everyone has power outlets built into their floor like the stores that demo the tech do.
What about doing firmware upgrade? I followed the instructions - didn't work. I put the files on the USB stick. Hold the mode down for 10 sec - nothing. Wish this thing was wifi instead of just bluetooth or use the app to upgrade the firmware.
It worked for me. Did you extract the files on the computer and move 4 files into the USB? Also, I think you may have to have the USB formatted in whatever the original format came (I used the USB drive provided by Lovesac).
Nothing is wrong with the couch at all. Had ours for almost 3 years now and is amazing. Expensive? Yes, but worth it to me 100%. About to add the StealthTech to my existing setup.
The chargers are a gimmick, they're 5watts and don't really charge your device... but they heat them up very well which shuts down the phone from charging.
